Happy Kitty Bunny Pony Cuties
I remember first time I saw this book in J-town in SF... I thought "has someone read my mind and written a book?" Happy Kitty Bunny Pony celebrates America's "cult of the cute" in all its campy, kitschy, ironic glory.Looking at the cover, doesn't it make you smile because of its cuteness? Hello there cutie book! xxxo

Cold & Cute
We begin our first annual Cutemaskah (a celebration of all things cute during the diverse holiday season) with this little fellow. As we wake up to a rainy California morning, we learn that the first snow of the season has fallen in our state and only two hours away from L.A.! Snow on the ground? That means it's officially the Cutemaskah season!

Hello Cutie World
Hello Kitty is a fave of ours here at Hello There Cutie but wow, we never imagined she would honor our little blog by naming a video game after us! The package explains that you will "take a trip to the fun and friendly world of Hello Kitty" aka Cutie World. I think we might need to buy a PC to see if Doug and I are included. xxxo

Get Well Cutie (part 2)
Check out this cutie San-X Relakkuma Bandaid in an adorable mini tin box key ring. Between the dancing disco bear and his dj birdie friend, this is enough to bring a smile to my sad face. Love the bubbles of happiness in the background too. Hello There Cutie friends. xxxo

Get Well Cutie
Cutest Toon Ever
Look who's back! Pussyfoot (sometimes referred to as "Cleo") is a supporting character in a handful of Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies animated shorts. Marc Antony is a bulldog who is her devoted companion and protector. A recurring theme of their relationship is that the cute kitty climbs onto the dog's back and starts kneading him to get comfortable, unaware that her little claws are causing him pain. The cat eventually snuggles into the canine's back for a nap and the two relax together peacefully. Awwww.

Bubbie Is A Cutie
I now have lots of cable channels I never did before including Cartoon Network... it's a miracle that I ever leave the house! One day I discovered The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. The main character is a cutie but the whale (Bubbie), who is like an over-protective Mom to him, is my fave. Her adorable big eyelashes and silly voice always gives me a smile... Sidney is a Cutie!!!
We don't often post videos of cuties but here's a reason to: Sidney the Pet Otter!!! Turn off the cheesy music and take five to watch Sidney play with his toys and frolic throughout the house. I never realized that playing with keys could be so adorable... Hello There Cutie Sidney! xxxo

Superdawg Cuties
"Who" you might be asking "are these two cuties on a box?" Why let me answer that... they are Maurie and Flaurie of Superdawg in Chicago. In addition to being able to see them at their drive-in location, you can also spy M & F at Midway airport. We adore their retro cool illustration style, and how Flaurie is kinda shy while Maurie flexes his muscles to impress her. Total cuties!!! xxxo

Baby Unicorns Are Cuties
In celebration of the new Twilight movie opening today (yes, I'm a geek!) we're visiting the land of magical, mystical creatures. No, not werewolves and vampires but unicorns! And lets make it extra cutie worthy: a handmade baby unicorn broach made out of felt. Too frickin adorable for words except a big "Hello There Cutie!!!" xxxo

Cuties Together
Created by the artist Kate Engel out of Ohio, these cuties remind us what is really important: being together. That and, of course, being beyond adorable in stripes with the sun warming our backs.... Hello there cutie friends! xxxo
A wish for cuties
In the real world, a raccoon and a chipmunk pulling on a turkey wishbone would be a horrifying site, but in the world of Hello There Cutie, it's simply adorable. As we are one week away from Thankgiving, this duo reminds us of the things we are thankful for.

Cute Little Pilgrim
This little fella has gathered up all his fruits and veggies for the harvest feast. I wonder why "For Auld Lang Syne" is called out, perhaps the phrase we now associate with New Year's started out as a Thanksgiving greeting?

Another Squirrel Cutie
This squirrel cutie was sent to us by a reader who collects these adorable creatures in all forms. Mr. Squirrel looks to be from the 50's and a glazed ceramic, perfect for any Fall display inside or out. I wonder what's in his bowl... acorns... walnuts... or just an extra dose of cute? xxxo

Cute & Comforting
I baked an apple pie this morning. The warm and comforting aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg always means that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I wore my baking apron, but unlike this cutie, I won't have to sneak into the kitchen to carve out a slice!
Wild Things Cuties
A friend and I were talking about seeing the movie "Where The Wild Things Are" and agreed we must dress appropriately. That said, I think fuzzy rompers are in order... he thinks Burger King crowns. Based upon how beyond cutie these fuzzy rompers are, I think I win! Any opinions fellow cuties? xxxo

Blythe In A Cutie Dress
One of our very first postings on Hello There Cutie was Blythe... and we still feel she's a top ten cutie!!! Different individuals are currently making dresses for this 70s icon, and the one above incorporates one of our favorite animals (monkeys) in an adorable frock. So once again we say, Hello There Cutie Blythe! xxxo
Cutest Storybook Ever
I had this book when I was a kid. It came FREE in a giant box of detergent. I remember the pages always smelling very clean. It was one of my most favorite books ever.

Squirrel Cuties
From the 1970s book "35 Tales For Tiny Tots Told by Mother Squirrel," this adorable illustration has Mother with a freshly baked cherry-pie. Perhaps this is a get well, (or, with her scolding finger, a "save til later") sweet for the cutie squirrel tot who is happily awake in his bed. Whatever the reason for the dessert, we say "Hello There Cutie Squirrels!!!" xxxo
Cute Harvest
Thanksgiving (or as I like to call it "Thanksvegan") is two weeks away! These cuties are getting ready-gathering up pumpkins, apples, pears and other autumn goodies with the help of their adorable animal friends. A good reminder to start writing out my grocery shopping list for the big day.

Friends Are Cuties
Who are these Kawaii cuties? Found on Etsy and designed by the artist TinyTart (love the monicker), "Friends 4 Life" is an adorable print. These two pals have such wonderfully huge smiles and, I think, are sharing a secret... what could it be??? xxxo

"How" Cute
The word "How" (haau) is used common as a greeting, perhaps inaccurately, by some Native Americans. The Oxford English Dictionary claims that the word was originally used by missionary Jean de Brébeuf to indicate an "sign of approval" and was used by the Huron or Wyandot tribes. But how cute are these Native American cut-outs?

Doll Cutie
Doug has owned for eons Jonathan Adler's "dolls" container, in tribute to the classic Jacqueline Susann book ''Valley of the Dolls.'' After years of subtle (not!) hints that he should loan it to me forever, I'm thinking of getting him this cutie doll that was designed by Wheaty Wheat Studios in tribute to the book also... think that'll work? xxxo

We Love Kawaii Kuties...
Monkey + Bunny = Happy!!! How can't we follow this monkey's wish to "Love me" when he has a carrot for the adorable bunny? Add in that she has a strawberry for him (I didn't know monkeys ate them), happy tulips, and fabulous colors of this origami set, we just gotta give this a big Hello There Cutie hello. xxxo

Fashionable Cuties
Doug and I both have pound pets, and know there are multitudes of mutts that need love. That said, I almost went back on my mindset when I saw these oh-so-fashionable teacup piggies. All the rage, these cuties can be box-trained and have cutie curly-tails. And squeal. Oh dear... a moral cutie dilemma here! xxxo

Caramel Cuties
Tis the season to start eating junk food... hooray! In honor of the cooling of the temps, I present this adorable Caramel Corn packaging from Japan. The cutie guy is smiling adorably, and she is shyly smiling back at him; as the flower is over her left ear, that means she's single. I wonder if he knows that??? xxxo

Cutie Papoose
The word "papoose" comes from the Algonquian Indian word "papoos" and means "child". The word came originally from the Narragansett. This crochet mother and papoose likely came from the 1970s.
Olympian Cuties
Meet Miga, Quatchi & Sumi - mascots designed by Meomi for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games! These cuties are causing a bit of controversy up in the Great White North, because Quatchi is a Sasquatch and some people don't think they are real. With how cute he is, we hope they are!!! Hello There Cuties... xxxo
