Care Bear Cuties

I just read that an update (as computer-generated images) is in the works for the classic Care Bears. Now why update something that is perfection as it is? On a day like today (construction going on in the next room with multiple contractors, yelling and lotsa banging) I like to mentally visit to the world of Care Bears so I stay a smiling (not grumpy) one! Summertime Cuties

With 4th of July just around the corner, it's time to figure out what to wear to a bbq. Although this pattern from the late 1960s isn't my size, I think these outfits would def make a splash at any bbq or pool party. What do you think Cuties? xxxo

Tornado Cuties

These Cuties are just two of hundreds of pets hoping to be reunited with their owners at an animal shelter in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The animals were separated from their families during last week's devastating tornado, and we sure hope they are back in their families arms again soon. Hello There Tornado Cuties!!! xxxo

I was reading my daily Rachel Zoe e-news and she talked about Hermes bracelets being awesome. Altho a bit outa my comfort zone price-wise, I wanted to look at them anyway so went to the website and wham! There are fabulous illustrations interacting with all of the products throughout. These bracelet cuties were among my faves... whatcha think Cuties??? xxxo

Hoppy Passover Cuties!

Today is the first day of Passover so just wanted to wish everyone a hoppy one!! One part of the sedar (aka dinner service & prayers that start the holiday) speaks of the ten plagues God sent as Pharaoh would not let the Jewish people free from slavery. One of the plagues was toads, so the double entendre of this graphic makes this our Passover Cutie card choice! xxxo

Taxes Are Due Today Cuties!!!

Because Federal Emancipation Day is celebrated in DC (what it is here), taxes are due today instead of on the 15th. Hooray I say as it gives me more time to procrastinate. Now if I lived in Nevada and it is as this postcard of the 1950s says, sure seems like Uncle (and Auntie) Sam's might be gettin a bit less. Whatcha think Cuties? xxxo

Springtime Cutie

Although Spring isn't officially here yet Cuties, it sure feels like it outside my window. In tribute to this season of flowers and renewal, I bring you my favorite: a baby lamb!!! I love to visit my friends up North and spot lambs bouncing along the way... and often pull over to squeal "Hello There Cutie" to them. xxxo

Rockin Lullaby Cutie

Reader Vaughn of SF sent us a website of some music he loves... and now we do too! It's lullaby renditions of classic rock albums. After listening to some of the selections with Amelie, it was determined that Black Sabbath (teddy bear Ozzy above) is the household fave (yes, the bunny is a rocker!). Cutie News Alert!!!

Stop the presses Cuties! The contestants in the 7th annual Puppy Bowl (cus who really cares about the Super Bowl?) have been announced!!! Per the website "Puppy Bowl VII brings viewers a loveable lineup that's itching to play in a combination of terrier tackles, touchdowns, puppy penalties, fumbles and Fido first downs." With that many puns, how can't we watch it Cuties??? xxxo

It's rather chilly here in SF, and I've been pondering the idea of a hot water bottle. Although I don't quite fathom how they work, I do understand this: there are some pretty adorable ones out there! Cutemaskah Cupcakes

For Christmas Eve this year I was ready to make Cutie cupcakes but instead was requested to make my super rich mac 'n' cheese. (sigh) I was kinda excited to make something as adorable as these guys above (esp. the Santa face and the giant candy one!) but might do these anyway for my friends. Would you like one Cuties? xxxo

October Cuties

General Mills Monster Cereals -- Boo Berry, Franken Berry and Count Chocula -- are back in stores 'til Oct. 31... now that's a Halloween treat! The original cereals were intro'd almost 40 years ago and were always been major cuties on the shelves. Now if they'd only bring back Quisp!!! xxxo
