Chick Cuties
The cuteness of Easter has infected me... and how couldn't it when you see these Needle-Felted Chickens? Once again Martha is to blame, but in reading the instructions they are beyond my craft-a-bility. Maybe if Doug could come up and help, we could have a new type of hen party!!! And a big Hello There Cutie to these adorable chicks. xxxo

TeaTime Cute
I'm off to have tea today with a fabulous friend, and ladies teatime always makes me think of Brown Betty teapots. And an adorable cosy. Here in SF there's a shop (Eden & Eden) that sells wonderful things for your home and one item is this duo. I believe everyone needs a bit of comfort, and even thinking of this item brings me to a warm, happy place. No wonder they call it a cosy! xxxo

Panda's are Cuties
Panda's are another animal that almost automatically goes into the 'cutie" category. Add in that this is a panda wearing a strawberry hat and is an adjustable ring, beyond cute. Skateboarding Cutie
Watch out Tony Hawk! Alby the Owl, of Folkstone Kent in the UK, loves nothing more than to feel the wind under his wings as he skateboards about town. Alby's owner discovered his unusual talent during a trip to the local shopping centre when Alby hopped onto a lad's board. As Alby resembles Hedwig from Harry Potter, this magical ability seems quite appro. And cute! xxxo

Felt BBQ Cuteness
It's beautiful n warm so my mind drifts to the Sunday bbq's of my youth... Unfortunately, we didn't have this adorable felt food at the table also! Here's a link to the patterns for this fun bbq solution, of which the hot dog kinda scares me. Perhaps it needs a bit more time on the grill??? xxxo

Beach Cuties
With the thaw of Spring taking place, my mind drifts to summer and lazy days on the beach. These two cuties are reproductions of illustrations salvaged from a 1930s American children's schoolbook. I adore their wistful expressions, thinking perhaps that these days of summer should never end... Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

I don't believe you need to eat anything if it's not cute... obviously the British agree! This pasta is targeted towards kids but I'd totally try it. It sounds yummy, is all natural and has a sweet little boy reading to me about the benefits! Yummy + Cutie = Hello There Cutie food. xxxo

Sanrio Cuties
Pankun is a baby panda who was abandoned in a forest where pandas live. His favorite possession is an old mitten that was in the box with him when he was abandoned. Pankun loves bread, and his tummy rumbles whenever he sees the two pieces of bread, Shokupan and Koppepan. Gosh Sanrio is cute but weird... we love it!!! xxxo

In honor of "the Ides of March" we have Popeye (a total cutie) from the classic cartoon "Greek Mirthology." In this, Popeye tells his nephews the story of Hercules (with Popeye himself portraying Herc), who sniffs garlic until he discovers eating spinach for strength. Whatta Cutie!!! xxxo

Stretch Is a Cutie
On March 4, a baby Masai giraffe named "Stretch McCovey" (named after the former SF Giant) was born at Safari West wild animal preserve in Santa Rosa, just north of me in SF. The calf was the 14th born at the preserve and is part of the largest private giraffe herd in the US. I think we need to visit Stretch to give him a big "Hello There Cutie" welcome!!! xxxo

Eeyore's a (sad) Cutie
Somedays, when feeling a bit blue, I say to myself "Don't be an Eeyore!" Eeyore was the mopey grey donkey stuffed animal who we met in the very first Winnie the Pooh book. He has a long tail that he is prone to losing but no worries... Christopher Robin is able to reattach the tail with a drawing pin! What a (sad) Cutie!!! xxxo

Canadian Cuties
While watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, I kept giggling when the Mounties were shown. Why? They reminded me of Dudley Do-Right! Oh c'mon, like you didn't think the same. All that was missing was Nell, Snidely Whiplash and, of course, Horse. Wow, now that would of been some cutie worthy Olympics!!! xxxo

March Madness Cuties
In celebration of March Madness, we bring you the Harlem Globetrotters. Founded in Chicago in 1926, the Globetrotters did live shows but weren't on my radar til their Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon! From 1970 to 1973, they had madcap/goofy adventures (very Scooby-like... perhaps because it aired after). Rumour has it a new version of the cartoon is on the horizon. I wonder if I'll still giggle? xxxo
