Teeny Tiny Cutie

"Paedophyryne amauensis" is a new species of a frog recently discovered by Louisiana State University herpetologist (the branch of zoology concerned with the study of amphibians) Christopher Austin. This little guy was found near the Amau River in Papua, New Guinea and has been named the world's smallest vertebrate. We name him the world's smallest cutie too... Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Look Closely Cuties!

Of all the amazing images to have come out from the Queensland floods, this has to be the cutest... a wee green frog hitching a ride on the back of a brown snake! Armin Gerlach was visiting friends in a flood-hit town last week when he spotted the unlikely pair and snapped this pic. Isn't nature magical? (and darn Cutie!) xxxo

Froggie Cutie

This "pea-sized" frog from Borneo was sent in by a reader and wow, this is beyond Cutie. I wonder if this little guy is full grown and, if so, if his size defies predators? Add in his wonderfully spotted skin, Borneo boy gets a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
