Nick Jr. Cuties

And who are these two scampering cuties? Why it's Max and his big sister Ruby! Max is a three-year-old cheerful bunny boy who knows what he wants and won't give up until he gets it (sounds like my bunny Amelie!). Ruby is Max's older sister, a second-grader who loves to show her little brother how to do things and is a Bunny Scout. I think we need to tune into Nick Jr. to watch them in action... how about you? One Last Uggie Post...

Now that the Academy Awards are behind us I must admit: we were a bit Uggie obsessed. But when a Cutie is a major star in an Oscar nominated movie, it's perfectly natural, right? (humor me please) Although Uggie didn't garner an Oscar of his own, here he is with another Oscar (the Grouch from Sesame Street) backstage at the Awards. Yummy Tummy Cuties

For an upcoming client project, I am designing packaging so beginning to look about for inspiration. These wonderful boxes, designed by Landor Sydney, caught my eye for being so adorable. The product, koala-shaped mud cakes called Yummy Tummy Koalas, each have a different koala friend on the front of the box indicating flavor. And with the Yummy Tummy name alone, pretty darn Hello There Cutie right??? xxxo

Bag This Cutie

Fashion Week in London has a stand out star this season: the young Greek designer Mary Katrantzou. Mary's whimsical mixing and matching of patterns were brilliant on the runway and look what we just found at Colette in Paris! Longchamp collaborated with this designer on an adorable handbag, sharing her interpretation of "When East meets West." Orchids and lanterns floating like balloons against blue sky.... a perfect Spring bag for all Cuties!!! xxxo

Fat Tuesday Cuties

Today is Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras in French) which in New Orleans is an excuse to party! Fat Tuesday is also the day before Ash Wednesday, ie the first day of Lent. It gets its name from the custom of marking the day with feasting before the fasting for Lent begins. Pekinese is Cute-i-nese

Say a big Hello There Cutie to the winner of this years Westminster Kennel Club show... Malachy the Pekingese pooch! Malachy is the sixth Pekingese to win best of show in history of Westminster and with a face like that, we see why! But a question comes to mind from this owner of a shelter pet: Do they have a rescue version of Westminster (ala the Puppy Bowl)? If not, perhaps Hello There Cutie should organize one... you game??? xxxo

A tugboat that is all steamed up over me? Talk about a swell Valentine! We hope everyone gets cards, chocolate, flowers or whatever else your heart desires on this sanctioned day of love... personally, my day is starting off with bunny snuggles so filled with affection galore. Our Anniversary Cutie!

10 years ago today Amelie, the worlds most wonderful bunny and pet, was adopted by me at SF Animal Care and Control. At that time, she was a wee thing named Spike that was full of affection and looking for a home. After spying her on the 12th and a sleepless evening thinking about Em, I went back the next morning as soon as they were open to adopt her. And change her name (she so isn't a Spike!!!) 10 years later, she still fills my heart, as well as all who have met her over the years, with love. Happy Anniversary Cutie!!! xxxo

So our insider at Warner Brothers (aka Doug) sent us this cutie... the Wafflebot from Harold & Kumar's Christmas movie! Now I admit I didn't see this movie (loved the first one, tolerated the second so fearful of the third) but now wish I had just to see this guy in action. I wonder if the Wafflebot would make us Hello There Cutie theme waffles? Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Little Lady is a Cutie

I was reading about the new DVD/Blu-Ray release of Lady and the Tramp and broke into a big smile. I remember seeing it as a kid at the LaReina theatre in North Hollywood with my Grandma Helen, and just cooing at how adorable Lady was when a puppy. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up, but I always knew that when and if I did, it would be just like Lady (even eating spaghetti with Tramp when she got older). Half Birthday Cutie

My birthday twin Tink was in town this week for an early celebration of our half b-day! While at Super Duper admiring the illustrations on their collateral, we both fell for a whale cartoon wearing a sailor cap. Altho not a whale, this adorable octopus cake we both would surely welcome for our half b-day celebrations instead!!! Hello There Cuties and Happy February 8th to all! xxxo

Sheep Herding Bunny Cutie

As you know, we do love our bunnies and sheep here on Hello There Cutie, so were thrilled to come across this video from Sweden. Champis the bunny doesn't only hop – he also knows how to herd his masters' flock of sheep! This 5-year-old pet rabbit from the small village of Kal in northern Sweden shot to online fame last week, having gotten more than 700,000 YouTube hits after the clip above was posted. A Cutie World

Somedays I wish I lived in another world... away from the stresses of life. This kawaii illustration by our Cutie friend Charuca (who we have written of often) takes me away to that land. Puppy Bowl Cuties

Cuteness alert!!! Animal Planet is airing Puppy Bowl VIII on Sunday, February 5 at 3 p.m sharp (unless the puppies are napping). As we mentioned last year, this is the cutest thing to do Super Bowl Sunday ever (and will be on my tv pre-game, a warning to my friends coming over). The ref will be will be watching out for "unnecessary ruff, ruff, ruff-ness" from these residents of the ASPCA, which will be reminding us all that adoption from shelters is a fine option.** Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Magic Island Cuties

I was reading on Huffington Post about a movie that they claim is the greatest film we've never seen... sounds intriguing, yes? Called The Secret Magic Island, it stars animals in human adventures but what makes this so unique is that they seem chill about it.
