Corgi Cuties

We do love reader submissions... this one is from ultimate cutie Rob in Sacramento. I can see why he sent this in: Larry, Betty and Darryl are having a dog-gone good time playing out on the links. My favorite shot is the close-up of Betty smiling into the camera. Hello There Cuties!!!   xxxo

Care Bear Cuties

I just read that an update (as computer-generated images) is in the works for the classic Care Bears. Now why update something that is perfection as it is? On a day like today (construction going on in the next room with multiple contractors, yelling and lotsa banging) I like to mentally visit to the world of Care Bears so I stay a smiling (not grumpy) one! Which are you Cuties? xxxo

Cutie Peas in a Pod

These Cutie peas in a pod are supposedly a children's snack... I say supposedly as I don't know if any kid could eat these Cuties. I mean really, the way they're smiling up at me I don't want to gobble them but instead give them a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Toast Cuties

This campy little toaster cover is hand embroidered in vintage style by Needle-n-Me. As I use a 1950s toaster (it was my parents), this totally appeals to my toast aesthetic. And who wouldn't want to start their day buttering these smiling cuties??? xxxo

Cutie Mascot

Bazar Degoza-Ru is the mascot of NEC and was voted one of the cutest corporate mascots of Japan. This adorable monkey is smiling at us with an impish expression, and it makes me wonder what secret this holds... betcha it's high level! xxxo

Hello-ween Kitty (redux)

This sign from Japan features Hello Kitty wearing a witch costume in a patch of laughing cutie pumpkins. To make this even more psychedelic, there's a smiling train coming up behind her to give a hug... Times like this I wish I read Japanese! xxxo

Measuring Cute

I found out this week that if you iron a measuring tape, it's not a good thing. Melts. That life lesson learned, time to find a new one... and who could resist this cutie? Outa Japan (via the UK), this little guy makes me want to measure away. You just pull the sweet bug (on top of his smiling head) and the world of inches is yours... Practical + Cute = a Hello There Cutie tape measure! xxxo

Unicorns = Cute

I get teased by certain friends that I view the world a bit cutely, and they've been waiting for a unicorn post... proof patience pays-off! This embroidery has it all: a pretty pony unicorn, smiling rainbow clouds, shooting star and the ubiquitous "I heart" next to the unicorn because, well, who doesn't love a 70s inspired cutie??? xxxo

Japanese Cute

In Japan, even a sign for water is made cute... gotta love the aesthetic of this country! This sign has a cutie droplet smiling with his thirsty tongue out, which makes no sense as he's wet so shouldn't be thirsty, right? Oh well, hello there cutie sign anyway! xxxo

Beluga Whale

When I was wee one, we used to go to Sea World... hours of good clean fun for a little girl that liked cute things. One of my favorite exhibits was the Beluga whale cus it was always smiling at me. It looked like a stuffed animal come to life, and was adorable when it swam and played in its tank. Hello there cutie whale!
