Lance is a Cutie

I am a bit under the weather (injury) and cranky today so needed a smile... and what better then a rollicking theme song? Lancelot Link was a fave of my big brothers and I, and just rehearing this after so many years brought a huge smile to my little monkey-ish face. But I'll leave it for you to dance along for me, ok Cuties? xxxo

Cutie Longstocking

There have been many adaptations of Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking books since Pippi first appeared in 1948. The very first film came out in 1949 - followed by a Swedish TV series in 1969. This series was edited into 4 feature films for international markets beginning with PIPPI LONGSTOCKING, as pictured above. Pippi is unconventional 9 year old who has superhuman strength and is sassy towards the adults she encounters, a cutie if there ever was one!

Pixie + Dixie = Cutie

Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks was a segment of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series The Huckleberry Hound Show from 1958 to 1962. It starred two cute mice, Pixie and Dixie, and a goofy (but kinda cute) cat named 'Mr. Jinks". The premise was basically Tom & Jerry times two. The series is most remembered for Mr. Jinks' trademark lament, "I hate those meeces to pieces!".

Miffy

Bunnies are almost always cute... and one of my favorites, Miffy, is no exception. Born in 1955 to the illustrator Dick Bruna, Miffy is the star of multiple books and even has her own tv show on Noggin! Amazingly, she stays forever young and is truly a childs bunny. And darn cute! xxxo
