Ansel is a Cutie

We're often getting friend requests on Facebook but this one def caught my eye: Ansel the dog! Ansel lives in Westwwod (aka LA) and was adopted 3 years ago from an animal shelter. A Labradoodle (mix of Lab and Poodle), this Cutie has personality to spare as evidenced by his postings. And Like Doug and my pets, this shelter save is both adorable and totally sweet. And of course very Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

One Last Uggie Post...

Now that the Academy Awards are behind us I must admit: we were a bit Uggie obsessed. But when a Cutie is a major star in an Oscar nominated movie, it's perfectly natural, right? (humor me please) Although Uggie didn't garner an Oscar of his own, here he is with another Oscar (the Grouch from Sesame Street) backstage at the Awards. The Artist's Cutie

I didn't watch the Golden Globes Sunday pm but in reading about the show (and the dresses of course!), there is one moment I wish I had seen: when the Artist won best picture! A wonderful movie, one of the stars of it is this pup (real name Uggie) who demonstrates wonderful emotion and talent throughout the film. The photo above is Uggie on the red carpet and below we have him stealing the show when the cast is accepting their award... talk about Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Daniel is a Cutie

This cutie is Daniel, also known as the Miracle Dog, relaxing at his new home in Nutley, N.J. The beagle mix got his name after surviving an Alabama dog pound gas chamber. Volunteers named the dog "Daniel" after the biblical figure who survived the lion's den. Daniel was adopted by a family that has other dogs he is happily playing with and is proof of real life fairytales. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Hump Day Cuties

It's Hump Day (as we used to giggle about in junior high) and here's another adorable image sent to us by Joseph in SF. Today we have a scene that is near and dear to my heart: a cat napping atop a dogs back. Why near and dear? Because it reminds me of Pussyfoot and Marc Antony (who we have talked about here) and I'm squealing inside that this is real. Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Tangled Cutie

I was watching Tangled with my niece the other evening and must say my fave character wasn't one you would expect! No, it wasn't the Princess but instead was Rapunzel Maximus (aka the horse). I really liked this character as it was a horse but personified a dog... a dorse of sorts! Well, whatever it officially is, I say Hello There Cutie! xxxo

Liger Cuties

Breaking news outa China cuties:
Two liger cubs - a cross between a male lion and a female tiger - were born in a zoo in China earlier this month. Their mother stopped feeding the cubs after a few days so a dog, which had recently had its own puppies, was enlisted to help. And what a sweet scene it is... Hello There Cutie Ligers (and your surrogate mommy)!!! xxxo

When politics and fashion cross with cute as the outcome, we must discuss! This German Shepard wearing doggles (doggie goggles) is like the canine suspected of helping capture Osama bin Laden earlier this week. Kennel Club Cutie

You know we love our mutts (and rescue critters) Cuties but GCH Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, who won the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show yesterday, awakened us to a new breed. This gal is the first Scottish deerhound to win best in show at Westminster, and she sure looks sweet but regal. Don't you just want to curl up in front of the fireplace at your castle with her and coo "Hello There Cutie?" xxxo

Gizmo is a Cutie

I found out yesterday that Gizmo, one of my favorite dogs of all time, is having health issues. Gizzy is a Shiba Inu (aka seriously cute pup) and will lean on me for rubs til my hand is tired. In tribute to him, we send big Hello There Cutie get well wishes. xxxo

As mentioned yesterday, the late Art Clokey also created Davey and Goliath, a series of short animated stories that told morality tales through the adventures of a Protestant family that include trouble-prone Davey, his little sister Sally and their talking dog Goliath. These simple shorts ran Sunday morning on local TV stations throughout the 1960s up until the 80s and were clever and cute. I'd rather watch these then go to church!
