Nurse Cutie

One of my friends and I are sick for the new year so hoping this vintage nurse cake topper will cheer us up (especially if on a get well cake!). This cutie is dressed in the uniform of a World War I nurse for the Red Cross, and is carrying a tray with medicine to make us healthy! Today I've got boot camp, and I sure wish I could wear something like the cutie in yellow is. Imagine my trainer's surprise when I'd show up in a yellow pinafore instead of workout gear... This book was published in 1940 and is filled with tips on making sure your child is healthy (and mentally sound) before and after starting school. What about after boot(ie) camp Cuties? xxxo
