I'm having a friend over for dinner tonite and was pondering what should be on the menu. When all else fails, research cute! I found these adorable bento box buddies on the blog cutestfood.com and wow am I inspired. The only issue is that this robot and bunny are too darn awww-inspiring to eat: I'd just go hungry, say Hello There Cutie and tickle them instead! xxxo

Our Anniversary Cutie!

10 years ago today Amelie, the worlds most wonderful bunny and pet, was adopted by me at SF Animal Care and Control. At that time, she was a wee thing named Spike that was full of affection and looking for a home. After spying her on the 12th and a sleepless evening thinking about Em, I went back the next morning as soon as they were open to adopt her. And change her name (she so isn't a Spike!!!) 10 years later, she still fills my heart, as well as all who have met her over the years, with love. Happy Anniversary Cutie!!! xxxo

Sheep Herding Bunny Cutie

As you know, we do love our bunnies and sheep here on Hello There Cutie, so were thrilled to come across this video from Sweden. Champis the bunny doesn't only hop – he also knows how to herd his masters' flock of sheep! This 5-year-old pet rabbit from the small village of Kal in northern Sweden shot to online fame last week, having gotten more than 700,000 YouTube hits after the clip above was posted. Cutemaskah Boozy Cutie

So yesterday I went out to the mailbox and look what was waiting for me: an adorable sweater to keep my Maker's Mark warm. Perhaps a reminder that MM makes us warm inside during the holidays? Well I immediately put it on Amelie the bunny (who wanted nothing to do with it) then went into the liquor cabinet: no Maker's so it's keeping my scotch warm instead. More Flying Bunny Cuties

Remember when we posted about those Olympian flying bunnies in Germany? Well in Switzerland on Sunday, this cutie (Lada Sipova-Krecova of Czech Republic) won the first European rabbit hopping championships. Rabbit hopping is a growing trend among rabbit owners in Central Europe to which Amelie and I both agree... as long as the bunnies are happy in this hoppy, they get a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Bunny Without Ears Cutie

This earless bunny born near Japan's quake-ravaged Fukushima power plant is the subject of much controversy. He might be evidence of radioactive contamination (scary) or perhaps this is just a random birth defect (scientists are leaning strongly toward the latter) All I know is a pure non-scientific fact: this bunny without ears is adorable!!! Amelie is Our Cutie

Eight years ago today, a sweet little bunny was living on borrowed time at SF Animal Care and Control. On her cage was the name Spike but she was a sweet, French looking mini Rex that seemed more like an Amelie. She was adopted on February 13th, and has since filled the lives of many with cuteness, kisses and love. Hello There Cutie to the cutest in the land!!! xxxo
