Yesterday I went shopping at HK Market in Glendale, CA and bought a bunch of yummy treats including Everyone Says Good Good Eat Wheat Crackers. These Japanese BBQ flavored snacks are actually fried ramen noodle crunch cakes that come packaged with an adorable, but sad little girl on the bag. My guess is that she is sad because she has finished her cute bag of Everyone Says Good Good Eat treats!

After doing a bit of research, we here at Hello There Cutie have learned that "Sillisculpts" are the name for these popular, but peculiar rubbery-hard, molded little statuettes. The subjects were either of cute and/or pathetic figures situated on a base with an adorable or humorous saying "carved" into it. These card store novelty items were introduced in 1968 by R&W Berrie and became quite a fad because these goofy knickknacks that had a much longer shelf life than the average greeting card and appealed to people of all ages. Other companies such as American Greetings produced their own line of statues well into the 1980s.
Mafalda is an internationally famous comic strip written and drawn by the Argentine cartoonist Quino from 1964 to 1973. The strip featured a cute, but sassy little six-year-old girl named Mafalda who has a deep concern about humanity and world peace, but also hates soup!
The show was popular because it taught simple lessons through games and songs.
A favorite recurring character was Mr. Do-Bee, an cute bumblebee who was employed to teach the children how to be well-behaved.
Mr. Do-Bee always started his lessons with the phrase "Do Bee," for example, "Do Bee polite!".
Mr. Do-Bee could be seen many Romper Room products.
Mr. Do-Bee was know in the US, as well as internationally.
Other Romper Room and Do-Bee merchandise includes balloons, records and various cute toys.
Walt Disney's animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) is based on the fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm. In the story, princess Snow White escapes being murdered by the Huntsman (who was hired by the wicked stepmother, the Queen) and winds up at cottage belonging to seven dwarfs, who work in a nearby mine. The dwarfs return home to find their cottage clean and Snow White sleeping across three of their beds. The princess awakens and is welcomed into their cute home. She soon begins a new life cooking and keeping house for the dwarfs. The cutest of the dwarfs is voiced by Scotty Mattraw as Bashful, named because he is the shyest of the dwarfs, and is often embarrassed by the presence of any attention directed at him.
