Runny Cutie

Saturday I was introduced to a book I wish I had heard of as a child... "Runny Babbit: A Billy Sook" by Shel Silverstein. Runny is largely composed of spoonerisms in rhyming verse and makes you smile upon first read. Other than speaking only in spoonerisms, Runny is a normal rabbit-child with many friends and two loving parents, his "dummy and mad" (ie mummy and dad). Add in that the illustrations are wonderful too, Runny gets a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Muppet Cuties

This weekend a movie is opening up that I am excited to see: The Muppets! Growing up with these characters, I loved watching them while my Daddy tickled my toes and we sang along to the pop songs each week. And look at how adorable they are... totally Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Slippers Are Cute

With winter just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about those basics we need anew! In looking at my slippers, it's def time for a refresh but I ponder: back to Restoration Hardware for a pair or do I go cutie? These guys I found on eBay and wow, who wouldn't smile if you looked down at these guys? Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Candy Corn Cuties

This time of year I always crave candy corn, and these two Cuties are giggling with glee at my hunger. These two buds are by the artist Maria Claspsis and are bringing a smile to my face. What about you Cuties? xxxo

Orang-u-Cute

Orangutan babies are pure joy and this little guy is no exception. So happy with his Mommy, can't you just hear his giggles? Add in that huge smile, he gets a giant Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Little Golden Cuties

I was reading on SF Gate about Little Golden Books and the memory made me smile... who didn't enjoy them as a kid? I still have a copy of The Little Engine That Could, and wonder if Tootle is a relation to that choo-choo (do you know?). Talk about some Cutie books!!! xxxo

Dreidel Cutie

This is something I never imagined: an anime Hannukah illustration! This cutie has typically large anime eyes, and is staring intently at his spinning dreidel. His smile is bittersweet tho; perhaps he's afraid he'll land on "Shin" and have to put a piece of candy into the pot? Oy... Hello There Cutie Hanukkah Boy! xxxo

Little Cutie Head

Not sure where the rest of this cutie is, but her head sure is cute! Her big, bright smile and pretty little eye lashes make her a darling doll part from her brilliant red bow to her chubby little chin. Now where did I put the rest of her?

Kawaii Kutie

In Japanese, the word "kawaii" mean cute... this sassy little girl with her bunny hat and rain friends certainly personifies that! The illustrator of this, Charuca, is from Spain, and does lotsa adorable characters; this particular girl with attitude and a huge smile sure grabbed my heart. Hello there cutie! xxxo
