Chicago Cutie-Time

I'm off to Chicago today for a family wedding (congrats Lou and Kristin!), check out a museum or two and watch my beloved Cubs win a game (eternal optimist). Emme has her uncle's checking in on her, and I have a feeling that upon my return I will find a very fat and happy bunny from eating far too many treats.

East-over Cutie

This weekend are both Passover (tonite) and Easter (Sunday) and look who is celebrating: an East-over cutie! A bunny in a yarmulke is pretty darn adorable, but I'm wondering if he will eat the matzo instead of Easter treats. Whatever he nibbles, a big Hello There Cutie to our bunny friends this special weekend!!! xxxo

Boo's a Cutie

I recently found out about an English brand called Belle and Boo that is simply fab! Illustrated by Mandy Sutcliffe, one of their two main characters is this sweet bunny named Boo who resembles Amelie in her youth. Featured today is a 215mm x 307mm sticker they are selling of Emme (oops! meant Boo) to put on your wall to ensure daily cute. I think everyone needs one, how about you cuties??? xxxo

Phonebooth Cutie

This morning I was awoken by a Skype call... usually I don't answer the phone before 10 am but this was a call from Berlin! My friends saw my computer was on (I blame Amelie the bunny for surfing the web while I slept) and wanted to say hello. Needless to say, in my jammies and hair askew, I was not an advert for Hello There Cutie so am now pondering getting a phonebooth set-up like this from Puroland Japan (aka Hello Kitty's version of Disneyland) for my next wake-up call. Cutie triumphs over all!!! xxxo

Nick Jr. Cuties

And who are these two scampering cuties? Why it's Max and his big sister Ruby! Max is a three-year-old cheerful bunny boy who knows what he wants and won't give up until he gets it (sounds like my bunny Amelie!). Ruby is Max's older sister, a second-grader who loves to show her little brother how to do things and is a Bunny Scout. I think we need to tune into Nick Jr. to watch them in action... how about you? Our Anniversary Cutie!

10 years ago today Amelie, the worlds most wonderful bunny and pet, was adopted by me at SF Animal Care and Control. At that time, she was a wee thing named Spike that was full of affection and looking for a home. After spying her on the 12th and a sleepless evening thinking about Em, I went back the next morning as soon as they were open to adopt her. And change her name (she so isn't a Spike!!!) 10 years later, she still fills my heart, as well as all who have met her over the years, with love. Happy Anniversary Cutie!!! xxxo

Cutemaskah Boozy Cutie

So yesterday I went out to the mailbox and look what was waiting for me: an adorable sweater to keep my Maker's Mark warm. Perhaps a reminder that MM makes us warm inside during the holidays? Well I immediately put it on Amelie the bunny (who wanted nothing to do with it) then went into the liquor cabinet: no Maker's so it's keeping my scotch warm instead. Hello There Cutie and thx for keeping us both warm this season!!! xxxo

Blingin Cutie

I read about this and wow... it had to be brought to you! This is the Diamond Bathtub, which is covered in 44,928 imported pink crystals (and one real diamond). The 19th century-style claw foot bathtub is currently on sale for $39,000 and, as you can see, isn't quite big enough for a grown up to dip into. But have no worries cuties: it's perfect size for either Amelie the bunny or a few bottles of bubbly! After all, it is now holiday shopping season, right? xxxo

Sleepy Monday Cutie

Between "falling back" and it being a Monday, I sure am groggy. Sleepy from Snow White seems to have the right idea: a nap with his cutie friends! Looking over, Amelie the bunny is already napping so I shall have to whisper a Hello There Cuties to you today. xxxo

Am going to a party tonight at a fancy home dec store in SF and decided to check out their website. Now I don't have a dog (obviously Amelie wouldn't allow it!) but check out these cuties in their special bed. Awwww... it's enough for me to reconsider! Hello There Cuties (times 3) xxxo

Bunny Jewery Cutie

I'm not a big jewelry type of gal, but this bracelet from Hillier sure caught my eye! Kate Hillier was an accessory and handbag designer for some pretty big houses (Marc Jacobs, Ferragamo & Stella McCartney to name a few) before launching her own line. And she loves bunnies! Rockin Lullaby Cutie

Reader Vaughn of SF sent us a website of some music he loves... and now we do too! It's lullaby renditions of classic rock albums. After listening to some of the selections with Amelie, it was determined that Black Sabbath (teddy bear Ozzy above) is the household fave (yes, the bunny is a rocker!). Ready for Valentine's Day Cuties???

With Valentine's Day just around the corner (yes, mine have all been posted... I like to send old fashioned paper ones) it's time to get into that mushy state of mind. These sweet vintage kids are sending out a message of Valentine's timeliness, and reminding you to send those cards n flowers asap! (I wonder what Amelie the bunny will be giving me? hmmm) xxxo

Niece Cuteness

My niece is staying with me but I have a sneaking suspicion that I wasn't the reason she's here... Amelie the bunny is looking rather happy & plump from treats!!! Nonetheless, niece Wendy gets this sweet vintage card greeting as a "come back to visit us" reminder. xxxo

Bling-y Cutie

I was looking for a present for a friend's baby and found this carriage at Harrod's in London. The old fashioned pram part is both fabulous and adorable. The entire thing (covered is real gold) is beyond outrageous and made me wonder if Amelie the bunny would like to go for a ride in it? That would make it beyond Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Nom Nom Cutie

Reader Tomoko sent us this t-shirt design as she thought it Cutie and guess what? We agree! Altho I don't think my bunny Amelie would enjoy a chocolate chip cookie, if it were made of carrots and yogurt treats, I know she'd be going "Nom, nom, nom... yummy!" too. xxxo

Amelie is Our Cutie

Eight years ago today, a sweet little bunny was living on borrowed time at SF Animal Care and Control. On her cage was the name Spike but she was a sweet, French looking mini Rex that seemed more like an Amelie. She was adopted on February 13th, and has since filled the lives of many with cuteness, kisses and love. Hello There Cutie to the cutest in the land!!! xxxo
