Cutemaskah Stocking Time

Now don't forget to hang your stockings with care tonite Cuties... Santa also drops presents for those of us who celebrate Cutemaskah! And if you don't have one, just do what this little Cutie did: take one off your foot and use that instead (I do wonder what happened to her knickers tho).
Your friends here at Hello There Cutie hope Santa fills your stocking with lots of treats, love and surprises tonite. xxxo

Cutemaskah Cupcakes

For Christmas Eve this year I was ready to make Cutie cupcakes but instead was requested to make my super rich mac 'n' cheese. (sigh) I was kinda excited to make something as adorable as these guys above (esp. the Santa face and the giant candy one!) but might do these anyway for my friends. Would you like one Cuties? xxxo

Bernal Cutemaskah Cuties

Down the hill from where I used to live in Bernal (an area of SF), these Cuties would come out to say hello each holiday season. They live in the window of a hardware store, and would always make me ponder "Which of the three is the REAL Santa Claus?" (I always suspected cowboy Claus) Even without an answer, they get a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

HoHo Cutie

This vintage Santa figurine was made in Japan and amuses me greatly... doesn't Mr. Claus look a bit tipsy? I hope he isn't drinking & driving his sleigh in three nites! And another question: is that a Gucci belt he's wearing? If yes, Santa baby can bring me a present indeed!!! Hello There Cutie Claus! xxxo

3D Cuties - 3

Here's the third of my lenticular postcard. This cute little Santa's helper parachutes down to a roof among the falling snow. What an adorable site to see as real-life snowstorms are being reported acorss the USA this morning.

Vespa Claus - Cute!

This vintage plastic toy has a slightly Italian twist as jolly St. Nick rides his smashing blue Vespa through the streets of 1960s Rome.

Cute on a Chimney

Santa must be freezing his tuchus off cause he's sitting on a cold and icy chimney. Hey Kris Kringle, you'd be warmer if you climbed down that chimney, I'm just saying.

Pez the Season to Be Cutie

Our friend Danny collects PEZ candy dispensers. These four cuties are a sample of his large collection. Though PEZ had been introduced in the 1920s in Austria, toy character head dispensers did not appear until 1955, when the candy was introduced in the United States. There are over 550 unique dispenser heads with thousands of variations. Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse were among the first character dispensers.

Santa's A Cutie

Santa is almost always a cutie, but when he's portrayed in such a groovy 70's way, instant cutie! Adore that he's waving to us (cus we're nice, not naughty?) and the multitude of patterns on both his outfit and background. Lastly, his big red nose (hot toddy Santa?) and big smile make us say Happy Cutemaskah Cutie Santa!!! xxxo
