New Year Cuties

Looks like these little birdie cuties are snuggling together to keep warm in the New Year ahead. Hmmm, I just noticed that they are all coupled off except that one on the far left, who looks like she had a bit too much birdseed in celebrating. A Week Post Bday Cutie

A week ago was my b-day (as you all know) and celebrating for the month thus far has been a fun experience. And guess what cuties? I have another week of birthday fun ahead (and then some)!!! Today woulda been my Daddy's bday, and this image reminds me of something I had forgotten about him. Every night after work, Dad would sit in his special seat and read the newspaper until called for dinner. This vintage card is kinda freaking me out... prob because the adorable baby on the front is "all Collywobbled." What does that mean? Perhaps the inside verbage holds a clue:
"cause I missed your birthday. But many happy returns. (Got that straight?)"

I don't know why, but this vintage (flocked!!!) bear holiday card feels very Hawaiian to me. Could be how she's strummin her guitar, or how the holly reminds me of a flower behind the ear. Either way, she's a major cutie that woulda made this little girl happy to find in her post box! xxxo
