A tugboat that is all steamed up over me? Talk about a swell Valentine! We hope everyone gets cards, chocolate, flowers or whatever else your heart desires on this sanctioned day of love... personally, my day is starting off with bunny snuggles so filled with affection galore. Happy Valentine's Day and Hello There Cuties! xxxo

My Valentine Cuties

This year for Valentines Day I decided to surprise my brothers with some family photos I had secretly restored. This one is of my original four Valentines and me (the cutie in the front looking oh so serious!). Although loves have come & gone throughout the years, these four have have always been my special Valentines... and always will be. xxxo

this posting is for Elliot too!

Ready for Valentine's Day Cuties???

With Valentine's Day just around the corner (yes, mine have all been posted... I like to send old fashioned paper ones) it's time to get into that mushy state of mind. These sweet vintage kids are sending out a message of Valentine's timeliness, and reminding you to send those cards n flowers asap! (I wonder what Amelie the bunny will be giving me? hmmm) xxxo

Sweet Valentine Cuties

Conversation hearts have a history that extends back to the 1860s, when Daniel Chase created a machine to print messages onto candy hearts. These initial messages were primarily wedding-related and much longer than the ones with which we are familiar.

By 1902, the succinct love messages that we recognize began appearing on conversation hearts made by the New England Confectionary Company (NECCO). Initially, candies in a number of shapes—hearts, watches, horseshoes, baseballs—invited the recipient to offer a kiss or to be true. Eventually, these other candy shapes became history, but the hearts have remained. And their cuteness!!! xxxo

Valentines Cuties

Happy Valentine's Day to my favorite girlfriend in the whole world. Thanks for 15 years of giggles, tee-hees and general silliness! Smooches!

Creepy & Cutie

The sentiment is sweet, but the copy writing is a bit macabre in this vintage Valentine's Day card. All that's missing is "I Love You TO DEATH Dear!"

1930s Cuties

This 1930s Valentine is beyond enchanting... I've always had a soft spot for the blue bird of happiness, and love how he's being sent out to deliver this special Valentine. The cutie little boy (in his shorty pants) is so happy to be sending it too! Can't you just hear him giggling? Hello There Cuties! xxxo

Cutie About Town

Sassy Valentine's Cuties

This year, I'm sending out some fabulous retro (and cheeky!) Valentine's that I found in the Castro at Cliff's Variety. These remind me of the Valentine's of my youth, and wonder if any equally sassy ones will find their way to me... xxxo

Cute Love Monkey

Cute Hippie Love

This cute fellow comes to us via Hallmark.

Love Bunny Cuties

It's coming up on two very important dates that tie together: Valentine's Day and the day Amelie came into our lives as an early Valentine. What better way to celebrate our favorite love bunny then with an adorably illustrated t-shirt of two sweet buns, all fuzzy & eskimo kissin, from Etsy? Hello There Cuties! xxxo

Cute Puppy Love

Snowy Cuties

If I were a blonde, Doug still back East and time-warped to the 50s, this would be us on V-day! Sledding along with one of our pets (I think it'd be my bunny Amelie), big smiles and wearing cute outfits. And, of course, with a "pun" thought bubble above us! Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Cute & Stinky

Most of my friends think I'm weird when I say this, but I don't HATE the smell of skunk. In fact, I almost think I like like the smell. Of course I've never been super-close to an actual stinky skunk, maybe then I'd change my mind. If all skunks looked like this little fella, we'd all say "Hello There Stinky".
