Nicopanda Cutie
And who are these cuties you might be asking? It's Nicopanda, the mascot of NY designer Nicola Formichetti who will be hitting Hong Kong this week for a pop-up shop at Lane Crawford. Shoppers can ogle at Lady Gaga costumes on display, and purchase an array of products—dolls, notebooks, umbrellas, prints—built around the Nicopanda character. This wide-eyed bear is already so popular in China a huge crowd clutching Nicopanda's greeted Formichetti at the airport... watch out Hello Kitty & a big Hello There Cutie to this guy!!! xxxo

Pseudo Panda Cuties

This one goes under the heading of "cute but strange."
These little girls in China are taking part in the newest craze taking over the country: dying animals to look like other wild animals. As if a chow chow isn't adorable enough, these "panda's" are really chow chow's dyed to look like panda's. As recent as 10 years ago you could find dogs in restaurants there (trust me, I've seen it!) so I guess this is a step in the right direction of loving and appreciating dogs as pets... Next step we hope is just loving them for the perfectly imperfect creatures they are! Hello There Cuties and xxxo
thanks for the 411 on this Carolyn!

Snub Nosed Cuties

I was reading National Geographic yesterday and came across an article about golden snub-nosed monkeys. These monkeys live primarily in China, and were recently discovered in Mynamar, where they spend the majority of their life in the trees. I could go on and on but one fact that National Geographic didn't mention needs to be addressed: they are adorable! Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Liger Cuties

Breaking news outa China cuties:
Two liger cubs - a cross between a male lion and a female tiger - were born in a zoo in China earlier this month. Their mother stopped feeding the cubs after a few days so a dog, which had recently had its own puppies, was enlisted to help. And what a sweet scene it is... Hello There Cutie Ligers (and your surrogate mommy)!!! xxxo

Phone Me Cuties

I'm often teased about my ghetto flip phone, so will be getting a new cel this new year. But first off, it must have an adorable home when at home, right? I found these guys on a wholesale site in China, but are unfortunately only available by the caseload... Do I really need 30 of these populating my flat? Something to ponder Cuties!!! xxxo

Leaf Carving Cuties

Leaf carving is a 60 step process of cutting and removal of a leaf's surface to produce a piece of art. The carving is performed by artists who carefully remove the surface without cutting or removing the veins. Alot of the examples on this website are pretty cheesy, but the one above seems to have Hello There Cutie potential... whatcha think Cuties? xxxo
