Dawn of the Cute - Part 2
Dawn's Dance Party friends included Angie, Dale, Glori, Jessica, Fancy Feet and Longlocks. There were four boy dolls named Gary, Van, Kevin and Ron. What a cute bunch!

Dawn of the Cute - Part 1
Dawn dolls were cute & tiny fashion dolls that were made by Topper Toys between 1970 and 1973. The dolls were smaller than slightly over 6" tall. The popularity dolls could not stop Topper from going out of business in 1973. Mattel's Rockflowers, were in direct competition with Dawn. Dawn dolls were made of vinyl, had joints at the necks, hips, and shoulders, along with bendable knees and twistable waists. Tune in tomorrow for more Dawn cuteness!

Rock Flowers Are Rock n Roll Cute!
Rock Flowers Dolls are 6 ½” vinyl dolls that were produced by Mattel in the first half of the 70s to compete with the popular 7" Dawn dolls. Whereas Dawn and her friends were all top fashion models (in high fashion outfits), The Rock Flowers were “rockers” who exuded a more casual, funky quality. And came with records that they would twirl on. Hello there cutie dolls! xxxo
