Playground Cutie

I might be seeing my little friend Anouk tonite and whenever I do, my mind goes straight to playing. This playground is La Laguna Playground in San Gabriel so a bit far to drive, darnit! What makes this p-ground so cool is that instead of traditional equipment, it's populated by 14 concrete monster sculptures instead. Built in a sand-filled lagoon in 1965, it was designed by Mexican artist Benjamin Dominguez and saved from demolition in 2006. Milky Cutie

I was with some friends last nite and their (almost 3 year old) daughter, after being put to bed, came out and asked for some warm milk. It was so adorable, Anouk walking with her bottle of milk all sleepy-eyed. I recently rediscovered the Russian design studio Hattomonkey who do some very Hello There Cutie worthy packaging; above is a carton of milk they did that I think Anouk would approve of. We certainly do, right cuties? xxxo

Anouk's a Cutie

This was a weekend of adventures Cuties... One of my fave experiences was driving down the coast with my friend Anouk (seen above) and her parents to a pumpkin farm in Half Moon Bay. The farm we went to still has many on the vine, and Anouk and I ran thru the fields finding the perfect ones. Next up? Carving and pumpkin seeds! Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
