SF Parrot Cuties

Way back in 2010, we wrote of a movie about the parrots of Telegraph Hill here in SF. These flying friends are rumored to of been escaped pets from the big earthquake and have continued to prosper thru the years. The photo above was posted this morning on Facebook by Lisa, who lives on Nob Hill (one hill over in SF) and is now able to hand feed these adorable flying friends... awww, talk about Hello There Cuties!!!   xxxo

Chicago Cuties

Am off to Chicago dear Cutie readers to visit my nephew and some friends... including the Cutie above! The wild monk parakeets of Hyde Park look to be in a Cutie competition with the wild parrots of Telegraph Hill here in SF. Will have to report back to you on the winner, and have a wonderful Hello There Cutie long weekend!!! xxxo

Telegraph Hill Cuties

A (modern) classic SF movie is "the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill." This movie is a documentary about a boho St. Francis (Mark Bittner) and his remarkable relationship with a flock of wild parrots that I often see when on the northside of town. A genuinely sweet tale full of cutie birds, I give it two big squawks of approval! xxxo
