Cutie Painting

Lucian Freud, OM, who died last week at 88, was the most celebrated British figurative painter of the late 20th century. Freud was thought of primarily as a painter of portraits, but though his subjects were often well-known people, he was no society portraitist like Sargent. His purpose was not to flatter, and the starkness of his images have few precedents in the art of the human form. As he was and is a favorite artist of mine, above we show one of his cutest (and unlikely) images, a bunny sleeping on a chair, above. xxxo

you may see some of the artists work here

Watercolor Cutie

Bella Foster is a Brooklyn, NY based painter and artist with her own v. unique style. This watercolor cutie I found on her website, and instantly fell in love with both the colors & whimsical lines. The more you look, the more you see. Luckily, it's so beautiful, I could look at it for hours. Whatta cutie!!! xxxo

Bunny Cuties

Trish Grantham is a Portland, Oregon based artist that caught my eye with this painting. The sweet napping bunnies on this gal's shoulder made me wish to give my own rabbit, Amelie, a big snuggle. Unfortunately, Amelie was more interested in supper. (sigh) xxxo
