Bilby Cutie

Here at Hello Tere Cutie, we're always looking for something new: this chocolate from Australia is todays! Not a typical Easter bunny or duckie, this Bilby (a marsupial that in Aboriginal means “long nosed rat”) comes to us via Haigh's chocolates down under. Bilbies fall into "so ugly they are cutie" for me: a pointy muzzle that is like a rat, long ears like a rabbit and very soft, fluffy fur. Add in that this one is made of chocolate for Easter... well Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Advent Cutie

It's coming up on advent calendar time of year. Although I didn't grow up with them, I always appreciate a reason to have a chocolate a day! I saw this calendar with it's multi-treat and super adorable graphics and it made me wish I could have my own countdown with treats. Perhaps to the new year instead? Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Butler Cutie

When I saw this logo online, I got rather excited about the idea of a British Butler for Amelie (the pet bunny) and I. Jeeves (do they have any other name?) could get her carrots and run my bath. I was swept into this fantasy til I found out this great deco-inspired logo is a British chocolate company... guess I'll have to partake in their sweeties instead!!! xxxo

Teuscher Cutie

As part of my birthday month, I've been indulging in some faves... including chocolate from Teuscher of Switzerland. Once a week their chocolate is flown in fresh to their stores and boy, is it amazing! A great thing T. offers is whimsical packaging; this wizard hides a champagne truffle in his tummy. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Vintage British Cutie

This vintage brochure is from the UK in the 1940s and I adore the headline: "Candy is delicious food!" Who could argue with that? It then goes into money making opportunities but back to that cute headline (and wonderful typography). Making me hungry for some chocolate-y food... how about you Cuties??? xxxo

French Monkey Cuteness

Two favorite things of ours: monkeys and chocolate! Add in this is a vintage French advertisement, the monkey is adorably carrying a basket full of pastries and he's wearing a great striped outfit... Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Koogle was a brand name of flavored peanut butter marketed by Kraft Foods beginning in 1971. Koogle was available in several cute flavors, including chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and banana. The kinda sorta cute Kooglenut character appeared on merchandise and in advertising.
