Groundhog Day Cuteness

February 2 2010 is two things in my land: Groundhog Day and the premiere of Lost.

Groundhog Day tradition has it that if the gopher Punxsutawney Phil (from Penn.) emerges from his temporary burrow—a simulated tree stump at the rural site of Gobbler's Knob—today and sees his shadow, winter weather will continue for 6 more weeks across the US. But if Phil doesn't see his shadow, then spring is just around the corner... we're hoping for the latter.

Tonites Lost will be fun, drinking Dharma beer (made the cute labels myself!) with friends and hoping that our fave cutie characters will live. And declaring that certain ones aren't cute-worthy (Jack!).

Yes, it's a Cutie Day indeed!!! xxxo

Cute Horizon

In 1973 Disneyland Records released a kids version of the Lost Horizon soundtrack, disguising the much-maligned Burt Bacharach/Hal David musical as a It's a Small World knock-off. I, for one, find the songs cute and charming. They also added in songs from other musicals to round out the album. It is now my mission to hunt down this rare gem.
