Sjakie Is A Cutie

Sjakie is a baby sloth at the Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands who has a teddy bear mommy. When just a wee baby, Sjakie's mother couldn't feed him and the zookeepers had to come up with a solution... problem was, none of theirs worked! Luckily a very smarty-pants 2-year-old girl came up with the answer: one of her teddy bears for S. to hold onto while the zookeepers fed him. Now Sjakie has two mommy's (lucky sloth!) and is happily feeding away. Hello There Cutie!!!   xxxo

Swimmin Hippo Cutie

A trend I'm noticing among my friends is cleaning their homes for the start of the new year. This baby Pygmy hippopotamus isn't cleaning up his home at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo but instead is taking a wee bath. Well, if not cleaning the house clean yourself, right? And when you're as chubby and adorable as this little guy, I say do whatever you want! Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Cutemaskah Cub Cutie

Look who is peeking out underneath their mama's chin... it's a Cutemaskah Cutie! This day old white lion (a rare subspecies of the African lion) cub is at Belgrade's Zoo in Serbia. As of day two, this little guy and his 3 siblings are, with good reason, the zoo's biggest attraction. Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Uli is a Cutie

This adorable baby elephant was sent in by Cutie reader Andy of San Francisco! Uli (the wee one) is standing close to his mom
Sabie at the zoo in Wuppertal, Germany. He is an African elephant, who was born on January 16th weighing nearly 100 kilos (220 pounds) at birth. Wow, that's a big boy... and he deserves a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

thx for the submission Andy!

Baby Rhino's Are Cute

In the German city of Münster, a sweet baby rhinoceros was rejected by her mother so is being raised by zookeepers. It's round-the-clock-work: she drinks gallons of milk a day and needs to be petted regularly. As our good deed of the day, we here at Hello There Cutie volunteer to pet & play with her!
