I gotta confess I'm a bit sad that 52Aces Week is ending today on Hello There Cutie, so chose this broken hearted illustration. Done by Andreas Trenker out of Italy, his work is influenced by a passion for street art, politics and experimental techniques. Andreas usually illustrates topics with a social background and cultural progress.... and based upon this guy, darn adorable! Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
An octopus spade? Now this is adorable!!! Drawn by the Spaniard Felideus, this little guys quirkiness made me smile. Felideus is a freelance illustrator out of Spain that is just starting to be discovered, and we can totally see him hitting it big based upon this cutie! Hello There Cutie... xxxo
Day 3 of 52Aces and we're looking at a true diamond girl! Scotty Reifsnyder adores mid-century design and it def shows in his work. Recognized by peers via prizes and exhibits, Scotty also teaches illustration and design at the University of Pennsylvania, sharing a love of cute illustration. Hello There (diamond) Cutie!!! xxxo
The 2nd card in our 52Aces series of postings was designed by Sandra Hofacker of Zurich. Sandra is the founder of Apfel Z Design (apfel = apple) and the t-shirt line Sware. The set is being sold in a limited edition of 999 here, and a great idea for my 08/08 birthday gift (subtle hint). Now here's our first card...
Dr. Alderete is an illustrator and designer who works and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You might recognise his style from one of the over 80 cd covers he has designed for music. All I know is this birdman and his lady friend are very Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
