Casper's co-star Spooky wasn't a friendly ghost. He was introduced in Harvey Comics as Casper's cousin in 1953, though it has never been explained how they are related. Spooky does look a lot like Casper, except for freckles, a derby hat, and a large, black nose. Even though he tries to be a tough guy, Spooky can't help being a cutie, especially when he's selling yummy devils food cookies!

Spooky, Another Ghostly Cutie
Casper's co-star Spooky wasn't a friendly ghost. He was introduced in Harvey Comics as Casper's cousin in 1953, though it has never been explained how they are related. Spooky does look a lot like Casper, except for freckles, a derby hat, and a large, black nose.
