Cute isn't always fuzzy... I think this hotel that just won a Travel and Leisure Award counts too! The Juvet Landscape Hotel in Norway was designed by JSA Architects to meld with the landscape in a seamless way. As reader research, looks like I might have to investigate to see if it wins a Hello There Cutie Travel Award too!!! xxxo
Seems like the mail is taking forever lately, so this posting goes out to Doug who is waiting on my b-day card... if I was as cute as this adorably illustrated little mousie, perhaps the card would of gotten to SoCal sooner!!! xxxo
I was on the CCTV site and came across this image: a rice bear taking a nap. Looks to be in a bed of yummy sushi too. But wait, this is on the primary Chinese tv station's website. I'm confused. Hmmmm... perhaps if I take a nap on a bed of sushi this'll make more sense. Or still delight me with its cuteness! xxxo
Back in high school I had a friend nicknamed "Tink"... we would often laugh like this 1953 Disney Tinkerbell is demonstrating. I'm going to be seeing her today in SF, and have a feeling this type of giggling will ensue again. You have been forewarned my dear city and readers!!! xxxo
Doscher's Famous French Chew Chewy Taffy is a nougat confection handmade in Cincinnati, Ohio since the late 1800s. A traditional method of eating it is to pop a bar into the freezer then crack it onto your kitchen counter to break it into smaller, bite-sized pieces.... Well, if this cutie is on the packaging, guess I'll have to try it! xxxo
I'm a bit behind on my crafting and seeing this needle project from Chile is making me want to add more to my workload. Wouldn't he be perfect on a mantle? Or peeking our from a corner like a wee mousie? Awww, Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
This vintage card is kinda freaking me out... prob because the adorable baby on the front is "all Collywobbled." What does that mean? Perhaps the inside verbage holds a clue:
"cause I missed your birthday. But many happy returns. (Got that straight?)" Hmmmm, well whatever collywobbled means, this is certainly a Cutie-worthy b-day card! xxxo
If I was a little (ok, littler) girl, I woulda printed this out and pinned it above my desk to "awww" at. What an adorable puppy. Can you believe it's real? And don't you want to just snuggle with him? This little guy is almost beyond Hello There Cutie adorable!!! xxxo
We recently got a kind reader comment so had to look up their link... turns out they are a cutie! Green Bean Baby (aka Ellia) does fabulous cutout art that is both whimsical and sweet. This particular illustration reminded me of myself this w-end, running around while on the phone touching-base w/my "to do" list. Gosh, if only my cel phone looked that cool! Hello There Cutie me in cutout!!! xxxo
Who doesn't adore crayons? And rings? Put the two together and yes, we have Crayon Rings!!! In eight fabulous colors, these cuties are destined for the fingers of all I know. Cus who wouldn't like to smell a crayon all day? Yum! xxxo
I have no idea if these are "official" Tupperware's or not but do know they are darn cute! And might (no guarantees) cure me of my fear of leftovers. Heck, with those smiles who wouldn't want to pick them up?!!! Hello There Cuties! xxxo
Remember when I was in Bodega Bay last week and wrote what an adorable place it is? Well these two Cuties were in a field on my drive up. When you see a scene like this, it's beyond proof of a cute destination!!! xxxo
The countdown has begun to my b-day (4 months from today!). My mind has begun reeling on what to do. Shall I have a soiree or perhaps celebrate for a month? No matter, my friends shall be included... do you have any suggestions Cuties? xxxo

Doug's is in ten days... shhhhh, don't tell I told
My friend Tomoko is in Japan & I asked her to bring me back an umbrella... think it'll be as cute as this one? V. Sweet Lolita, the ruffled edges would sure make me feel femme (as if the pink wouldn't!). Add in that the illustrations are of a girl at her vanity with a pet kitten... Hello There Cutie umbrella!!! xxxo
We adore when our readers contribute to Hello There Cutie and here's one from Danny in Weho! These "Wish Come True" cuties have weighted bottoms (like me after my Easter candy!) and built in chimes so they not only sway silently in the breeze, but play a soothing soundtrack for your wishing. Mmmmm... I'm wishing for another Easter basket! xxxothx Danny!!!
Who is this Cutie waving at us? Why it's Karmann, the orphaned baby wombat! This helpless little creature owes her life to a driver who rescued her from the pouch of her dying mother, who had been run over in Australia. Karmann now lives in the Warrandyte Wildlife Shelter in Melbourne and looks to be a star already. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
Easter is upon us, so lets choose our holiday vice: gorge on chocolate (love those Cadbury eggs) or on cute. We choose cute, esp. with this adorable headband from Benoît Missolin! Covered in glass-pearls, this'll def give this bunny a hop in her step year-round. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
I found this sticker in my desk drawer the other day and was curious about its origin. Turns out an art group from Chicago has been sending these out to people for the past 4 years to give and paste about their hometowns. If you're interested in being part of this cute movement, info is here. xxxo
I'm away today in a v. cutie-worthy place, Bodega Bay, for a friends surprise party (it was last pm so no worries tattling!). I totally recommend visiting here for the adorable architecture, baby lambs skipping in the fields, fabu food, beaches and...and... gosh, it's just an "awwwww"-inspiring place. Hello There Cutie mini-vacay spot!!! xxxoHappy B-day Ron!
Hello Kitty wine sounds like an April Fools joke, doesn't it? Well, it's real! Altho without much distro in the US yet (but here's the website), Hello Kitty has gotten into the vino game with 4 varietals. And yes, in the name of research, I'll have to sample all. The sacrifices I make for you dear readers... and Hello There Cutie vino! xxxo
