Cutie New Year

Baby New Year is a personification of the start of a new year, commonly seen on New Year's greeting cards and in advertising illustrations.

Baby New Year is also famous for his role in the classic stop-motion TV special RUDOLPH'S SHINY NEW YEAR.

3 or 4 Cuties

Little Sally celebrates an early Easter...(or is it a late Halloween?) in this lovely childrens' book illustration that I saw at a friend's holiday party.

Vuitton Cutie

The fashion-house Louis Vuitton and artist Takashi Murakami have done multiple collaborations, but I didn't know that they had done plush! This little guy (who I'm calling Louie) has the iconic LV symbols on his adorable ears, and the bright colors that are Murakami's signature. So frickin wonderful, he gets a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

On a recent trip to Henry's Farmers Market, your cutie correspondants Sherri and Doug witnesses this cute display of sweet clementines...a fruit very close to our hearts!

Cute Packaging

It's been too long (in my mind) since we had some cute packaging on the site... this is from the brand Life NK. OMG, I think I need to outfit my life in this brand. Adore the abstract bears doing their thing on colorful backgrounds and the fluidity in their motion. Hello There Cutie packaging!!! xxxo

Snowman Cuties

We love our bunnies here at Hello There Cutie. When there's both bunny and panda snowmen, it takes us to a v. happy holiday place. If only this card from Zazzle had said "Have a Cutie Cutemaskah" instead, I think we might have bought them all! Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

3D Cuties - 6

For our final 3D postcard, it's the Nativity! Yes - it's Mary and Baby Jesus in lenticular form in front of a Christmas tree, surrounded by angels. This vintage postcard may get the holiday traditions mixed up, but you can't deny it's cuteness.

HoHo Cutie

This vintage Santa figurine was made in Japan and amuses me greatly... doesn't Mr. Claus look a bit tipsy? I hope he isn't drinking & driving his sleigh in three nites! And another question: is that a Gucci belt he's wearing? If yes, Santa baby can bring me a present indeed!!! Hello There Cutie Claus! xxxo

3D Cuties - 5

A happy hot air balloon filled with cuties: a tiny Santa's helper, a bunny, a teddy bear and a white deer. This vintage lenticular postcard never fails to make me smile!

3D Cuties - 4

These cute little angels pop out of the sky with their joyous song and ring giant bells in this vintage lenticular postcard.

Cutie Angel

This vintage Japanese ornament from the 1960's is beyond a sweetie. Altho I am a bit jealous of her long eyelashes and fabulous frock, I see that her arms are wide to give us a big cutie hug!!! Hello There Cutie... xxxo

3D Cuties - 3

Here's the third of my lenticular postcard. This cute little Santa's helper parachutes down to a roof among the falling snow. What an adorable site to see as real-life snowstorms are being reported acorss the USA this morning.

Origami Cutie

This origami snowman was somebody's labor of love... he is made of over 400 individual pieces of paper and, most of all, positively adorable. I think he should be a mascot of Cutemaskah, don't you? Hello There Cutie Snow Man!!! xxxo

1930s Cutie

In honor of the last pm of Hanukkah, we present this cutie lighting her menorah. It's a postcard printed in the 1930s, and illustrated by Annie Bergman. This little gal is being so careful with her matches and has such an intent expression on her face... a v. serious cutie is she! If we told her about Cutemaskah, might it make her smile a wee bit? xxxo

3D Cuties - 2

This cute kitty is after something in that Christmas tree, I just hope he doesn't knock the whole tree down!

3D Cuties - 1

Lenticular printing is a technology in which a lenticular lens is used to produce images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles. This process creates the illusion of 3-dimensional imagery. I have a collection of vintage Lenticular postcards, here is the first one:

This charming winter scene is both beautiful and sweet, as we witness a deer family frolicking in the snow before a gorgeous, but minimally decorated Christmas tree.

Kawaii Cutemaskah Cutie

Tenshi Neko means “Angel Kitten” in Japanese, and she is totally Kawaii (which means cutie!). Here Tenshi Neko is on a coin purse in her Cutemaskah holiday dress and tiara. It looks like her magic wand (or is it a scepter?) has fallen into the snow... I hope one of her friends is there to help. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Un-Bearably Cutie

I don't know why, but this vintage (flocked!!!) bear holiday card feels very Hawaiian to me. Could be how she's strummin her guitar, or how the holly reminds me of a flower behind the ear. Either way, she's a major cutie that woulda made this little girl happy to find in her post box! xxxo

2 Cute Trees

For your consideration...

Cute tree #1.

Cute tree #2.

Vespa Claus - Cute!

This vintage plastic toy has a slightly Italian twist as jolly St. Nick rides his smashing blue Vespa through the streets of 1960s Rome.

Cute Chanukkah Cat

Singing Cuties

These cuties from the late 1960s are singing a holiday tune or three for your pleasure. In their robes, it makes me wonder if they ended up joining Polyphonic Spree... how cool would that be? Hello There Cutie Singers! xxxo

Ho Ho Cute

This vintage plastic Santa waves hello on this crisp Autumn morning.

Vintage Hanukkah Cuties

This is the cover from a 1954 Hanukhah Activity Fun Book. Judy & Dave are very Sherri & Doug, so we had to include these Hanukkah cuties. We sure hope the menorah doesn't fall on top of them tho. Hello There Cutemaskah Cuties! xxxo

Cute on a Chimney

Santa must be freezing his tuchus off cause he's sitting on a cold and icy chimney. Hey Kris Kringle, you'd be warmer if you climbed down that chimney, I'm just saying.

Meshugeneh, But Cute

"Meshugeneh" is the Yiddish word for "crazy"...but this cute monkey doesn't look any more insane than your average simian. What a great gift he would make on one of the remaining nights of Hanukkah!

Shake Your Cutie

These vintage Snow-man and Snow-woman salt and pepper shakers sure make me want to shake-shake-shake. Their big sweet eyes (with lashes that go on for miles) and shy expressions seem to be wishing us all a Happy Cutemaskah! Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Another Cutie with a Candy Cane

This vintage vinyl blow-up Santa has a cute and sweet to share as well!

Cute & Blue-ish

I wish someone had this cutie bear to hug as the festival of lights continues. I send this out to someone special on this rainy California morning.
