The girl in the foreground is Jennifer Elise Cox (Jan from the Brady movies) who is a Cutie but our posting today is about the painting in the back. This painting was done by my Grandma, who signed her artwork Hia (her name in Hebrew), and was a very prolific painter. This, as most of her work, didn't come from travel or experiences but from magazine photos she got inspiration from. Hello There Cutie Hia!!! xxxo

I'm trying to be healthier right now (new years resolution) and part of that is, of course, eating better. This sign is for Marco Pierre White's restaurant 'L'Escargot' in the Soho area of London, England. I'm not a big fan of snails as food, but am always a fan of cute signs. Baby Sea Lion Cuties

Two baby sea lions, whose mother gave birth to them at Pier 39 in SF then abandoned them there for reasons unknown, have settled into their new home at Brookfield Zoo outside Chicago. They don't have names yet, but with how cute they are, betcha it'll be adorable!!! Hello There Cuties! xxxo

Labor Day Cuties

Labor Day became a federal holiday in 1894, when, following the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the U.S. military and U.S. Marshals during the Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with the labor movement as a top political priority. The form for the celebration of Labor Day was outlined in the first proposal of the holiday: A street parade to exhibit to the public "the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations," followed by a festival for the workers and their families.... but to me it means bbq!!! Secret Squirrel is a Cutie

Had supper the other pm with my friends Noah and Christine. Their nickname for me is Secret Squirrel and they gave me a Cutie worthy SS figurine. Back in the 60s, Secret Squirrel was a kids cartoon that was a spoof of spy movies; luckily his sidekick Morocco Mole would help him get out of trouble. Smokey is a Cutie

Am off to go hike today and am hoping to see Smokey the Bear. With his adorable hat, big smile and message that only I can prevent forest fires, I think old Smokes would be a fun hike-mate. When the fog comes into SF, it's time to run to the sun. Today it's Napa, and more Cutie places are on my radar! For dinner it'll be Morimoto, the home of beautiful (and adorable) sushi... I wonder if the Iron Chef himself will be there to wish me happy birthday month??? xxxo

I recently watched a movie called Ponyo. It's about a girl goldfish named Ponyo who befriends a five-year-old human boy, Sōsuke. She has magical powers and wants to become a human girl. I won't tell you what happens except to say this: it's very Cutie!!! xxxo

One of my fave books of all time is the Owl and the Pussycat. Imagine my joy when I found out that they star on packaging for vanilla biscuits... Then my sadness when I discovered that the cookies are shaped like the two main characters. I woulda preferred runciple spoon or pea green boat cookies instead dear Cuties. xxxo

Little Sun Bear's A Cutie

The oldest Sun Bear at the Singapore Zoo is now the proud grandmother of a yet to be named male baby bear. The 33-year-old matriarch named Garang, which means ‘fierce’ in Malay, and her daughter Judy welcomed the new family member in February. This little guy sure looks more Cutie then fierce so he gets a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
