The 1970s were a decade of cute overload... and this little turtle is a prime example. He was featured on paper, t-shirts, notebooks & wall art, and grabbed your attention with his big eyelashes, rounded features and sweet smile. Hello there cutie turtle. xxxo

I was feeling a bit blue (still unemployed) and a friend sent me a link to this blog. To be honest, I was afraid that it was going to be an ad for Hello Kitty; it turned out to be a potpourri of culture from the 50's to present, advertising to art. And it cheered me up for free!
