Choupette the Cutie

Karl Lagerfeld (who we have written of previously) has for many years stated he does not want children. That said, he has fallen in love with a wee kitten named Choupette. I need not comment further as Karl demonstrates below his love for her (in his extravagant way:

“She has lunch and dinner with me on the table, with her own food… She sleeps under a pillow and she even knows how to use an iPad. She has two personal maids, for both night and day. She is beyond spoiled. When I am not there, the maids take down, in little books, everything she did.” Choupette also travels with Lagerfeld to St Tropez on his private jet “in the cockpit, with the pilot, she loves looking at the sky."

Spoiled but adorable, Choupette gets a big Hello There Cutie for showing that a cat can live the life too!!!   xxxo 

Lets Play Hooky Cuties!

So look what I found over at our friend kate spade's website: an adorable and sassy bracelet. And it's on sale too! On the outside it says "Play Hooky" then on the inside "Just For The Fun Of It." Hello Kitty Airline Cutie!

EvaAir has come up with ultimate cutie for travellers: they've teamed up with Hello Kitty! On multiple routes there will be HK themed planes that take it to the max: passengers are greeted by attendants in Hello Kitty costumes, are served Hello Kitty-themed meals (including Hello Kitty-shaped pasta), can soothe their dry skin with Hello Kitty tissues, wash their hands with Hello Kitty soap and nap of Hello Kitty pillows. I'm not sure about you, but I'm so there!!! Hello There Cutie.   xxxo

Snail Mail Cutie

Gotta love Kate Spade... I do especially for her stationary! This little guy is on notecards available on her website and how perfect is it? An adorable snail for snail mail! I often buy her notecards but fear if I get this set, they will end up making a snail colony in my desk as I won't wish to give any away. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Carrot Cuties

How's this for a happy Monday image? These carrots were found "cuddling" when they were plucked from Sue Smith's garden in Cwymbran, South Wales. I wonder if Sue kept them together or if it was a painful break-up? Whatever the outcome, I send a big Hello There Cutie to these adorable (and high in vitamins) pals. xxxo

Ansel is a Cutie

We're often getting friend requests on Facebook but this one def caught my eye: Ansel the dog! Ansel lives in Westwwod (aka LA) and was adopted 3 years ago from an animal shelter. A Labradoodle (mix of Lab and Poodle), this Cutie has personality to spare as evidenced by his postings. And Like Doug and my pets, this shelter save is both adorable and totally sweet. And of course very Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

East-over Cutie

This weekend are both Passover (tonite) and Easter (Sunday) and look who is celebrating: an East-over cutie! A bunny in a yarmulke is pretty darn adorable, but I'm wondering if he will eat the matzo instead of Easter treats. Whatever he nibbles, a big Hello There Cutie to our bunny friends this special weekend!!! xxxo

Baaaa Cuties

A friend of Hello There Cutie, Damien, is in New Zealand right now. Seeing these wee lambs (sent in by reader Jesse of SF!) reminded us of this fun NZ fact: the population ratio there is 1 human to every 10 sheep (really!). Now if those sheep are all this adorable, we're getting on a plane to say Hello There Cutie to each and every one of them!!! xxxo

Charuca Kawaii Cuties

Looks like one of our fave Hello There Cutie artists has a new book out! The Spaniard Charuca (who we've written of here and here) has just had his work published by Harper Collins in a book called "I Love Kawaii." I haven't been able to see the inside yet but based upon the cover and his adorable work, we already send out a big Hello There Cutie to it!!! xxxo

A Sad Little Ginger Cutie

I remember a song called "It Ain't Easy Being Green" sung by Kermit the Frog... substitute green with ginger, and we've got this sad little seal pup. Its reddish-brown fur and pale blue eyes have made this cutie an outcast from both his family and rest of the colony (that's them partying like seal rockstars in the background). Breaks my heart, so sending out a big Hello There Cutie and wishes that he is accepted for being uniquely adorable soon. xxxo

Balsa Man Cutie

This weekend I had the honor of going to Balsa Man. Balsa is an arts event based upon the roots of Burning Man with everything 1/16th in scale and underground in its implementation. So instead of 50,000+ people, Balsa Man had maybe 100 who paid 10 cents a piece for entry. This week on Hello There Cutie, we're going to be featuring some of the cute art (it was all sooo tiny!) from Balsa in the spirit of sharing art for free... please enjoy and Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Flying Cutie Bunnies

Sent to us by two Cutie readers, we had to post a flying bunny! This adorable little guy is jumping in a high hurdles event at the Open Rabbit Sport Tournament in Rommerz, Germany. Wait, did you know there's an Open Rabbit Sport Tournament? Me either... sounds like something to investigate cuties! And a big Hello There Cutie to this sweet lop eared athlete. xxxo

Italian Car Cutie

Another cutie car! This one is a Fiat 500 Jolly Ghia, which was made between 1958 and 1966 as a resort car for vacationers. Besides having sweet wicker seats, they came in colors like coral, pink, pale yellow, sky blue and white. The Fiat Jolly was also known as La Spiaggina or the beach-ette... altho I think the Jolly is a superior name! Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Nice 'n Cutie

Sometimes packaging updates are a good thing... when I look at this package of Nice 'n Soft, I wish they still had this on the aisle. And the little sweet girl who was their claymation spokesmodel was so adorable; who didn't love how she spoke in a Marilyn Monroe meets Betty Boop voice? A Baby Hippo Cutie

Reader Andy of San Francisco sent us this image today and isn't it the sweetest ever? The baby hippo looks to be taking some first big kid steps into the water with mommy there for security. Reminds one of their own childhood doesn't it? Hello There Cuties! xxxo

Bunny Without Ears Cutie

This earless bunny born near Japan's quake-ravaged Fukushima power plant is the subject of much controversy. He might be evidence of radioactive contamination (scary) or perhaps this is just a random birth defect (scientists are leaning strongly toward the latter) All I know is a pure non-scientific fact: this bunny without ears is adorable!!! Trader Vic's Cuties

As you might have guessed, my aesthetic is rather eclectic: here's another example! I've never smoked cigarettes (and never will, nor should you my dearest Cuties)... yet I have a collection of Trader Vic's ashtrays from the 1950s. Vic's was a popular Polynesian themed restaurant (history can be found here) that allowed smoking in both the lounge (home of the Mai Tai) & dining rooms, utilizing these adorable ashtrays. I know of six designs, all very un-pc and all very Hello There Cutie!!! (I own the one above) xxxo

Heavenly Cuties

This past week heaven got a bit more crowded with Cuties. A dear friends Mom passed (she is a total Cutie) and today I found out about Knut the polar bear.
