This week has been proclaimed by Target and Disney to be "National Princess Week." Ok, I know this is a business ploy but hey, as someone called princess by many a friend, it got my interest. Ozzie Cuties

January 26th is Australia Day down under and you might be wondering what that is! Well, it commemorates British sovereignty over the country way back in the 1700's. As one would expect, people find this holiday a bit controversial and is called Invasion Day by many. I'm not politically minded in regard to Australia Day but am very cute-ly minded instead: looking at this years celebratory (and rather adorable) logo, these critters def get a big Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Olive Cutie

How I wish I hadn't recently bought olive oil... this can is from the new TGTL collection of premium olive oils and would be perf in my kitchen. The oils are from the Alentejo Region in the south of Portugal, and there are 3 different oil cans beautifully illustrated in different styles. The cutie above is my fave as the style of illustration is so whimsical, with the colors bright and happy. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Tree of Cutemaskah

Thinking about the Cutemaskah season brought me to a tree of life, a symbol in many cultures including that of Cute! This tree, done by the illustrator Jill McDonald, has happy critters both interacting (love the bunny on the turtles back!) and hanging out on/around the tree. Reminds me of this holiday season of parties and being with our friends old & new. Hello There Cuties!!! xxxo

Some weeks Friday isn't soon enough... this is one of them! I feel like Snow White singing a song with a birdie friend now that 5 o' clock is here. Ok, a kawaii Snow White. I was talking with someone I work with about how today is kinda weird... people are driving freaky, those I chat with are off and overall there's something in the air. On a day like today, there's only one answer: take me away to Cutie-ville! This theme park is from our friends at Sanrio and wow, just looking at it makes me happy already. Fluffy Snow Cutie

The other day I was driving thru an area of town (the Sunset) I usually don't. It's very cold & foggy there but on Noriega Street was this ray of kawaii sunshine! Fluffy Snow is a shop that sells "snow ice" which is described as "a ride on a cotton candy rainbow" per their Facebook. Wow, a fabulously adorable logo and a great food descrip equals Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

It's been making up for a warm dry winter in SF with a bunch of rain. The good news about rain is modeled by the Cutie above: an adorable rain outfit! With my sassy umbrella, BR rubber boots and chic raincoat, I'm trying to bring the Hello There Cutie spirit to the rain best I can too! xxxo

This is a Thank You card to all our fabulous readers!!! My new fave website Folksy (kinda a UK version of Etsy) has these adorable cards by "Asking For Trouble." Based upon their graphics, I think they should change their name to "Asking For Cute" myself! I adore their whimsical eye and details in both the inside and outside prints, and wish to give them a big Hello There Cutie hello. xxxo

Boy Scout Cuties

Right now I'm doing a pro bono project for the Boy Scouts, so have been researching away. And what did I find Cuties? A wonderful vintage booklet with three ages of Scouts (Weeblo, Cub and Boy Scout I assume) to inspire me.
