I just discovered the work of classic SF photographer
Fred Lyon. Back in the 50's and 60's, he captured slices of SF (and Parisian) life as it was back then, with an eye for the beauty of the everyday. This scene caught my fashionista eye as it is in front of the old I. Magnin store (now Louis Vuitton) in Union Square, where a flower stand still stands today. This woman, so chic in a Grace Kelly way, seems to be wishing for a gardenia to grace her jacket... I hope she gets one! Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
