Bertie the Aeroplane was a character introduced to Australian audiences in 1945. He advertised Aeroplane Fruit Jellies and besides flying, could also sing! Bertie is still used in ads, but has been updated.. I prefer him pre-facelift! Hello There (vintage) Bertie the Cutie!!! xxxo
