March Showers Can Be Cute

It's been making up for a warm dry winter in SF with a bunch of rain. The good news about rain is modeled by the Cutie above: an adorable rain outfit! With my sassy umbrella, BR rubber boots and chic raincoat, I'm trying to bring the Hello There Cutie spirit to the rain best I can too! xxxo

Einstein is B-day Cutie

Last year, we posted a story on little Einstein, a teeny-tiny horse born on a farm in New Hampshire a year ago. E’s 20 inches tall and is destined to be the tiniest horse alive. In celebration of his special first b-day, we're giving Einstein a major Hello There Cutie hello again!!! xxxo

As you might recall from our previous posts about the Spanish artist Charuca (here & here), we adore his style of kawaii and fun with a slightly off twist. So imagine my surprise when my InBox had a newsletter of his newest stuff, including a collaboration with our fave Hello Kitty!!!

Heavenly Cuties

This past week heaven got a bit more crowded with Cuties. A dear friends Mom passed (she is a total Cutie) and today I found out about Knut the polar bear. You might remember Knut from the news as he was a star in Germany and sure was adorable. You will all be missed and Hello There (heavenly) Cuties!!! xxxo

Ging = Cutie

Say "Hello There Cutie" to Hong Dong, the extremely rare Red Tibetan Mastiff that a Chinese industrialist paid $1.5 million for. Altho we do love our shelter critters here at HTC central, this guy sure did win us over with his floppy ging hair, sweet face and that it is believed the breed blessings of health and security. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Happy B-day Cutie

Today woulda been my Daddy's bday, and this image reminds me of something I had forgotten about him. Every night after work, Dad would sit in his special seat and read the newspaper until called for dinner. This is a Thank You card to all our fabulous readers!!! My new fave website Folksy (kinda a UK version of Etsy) has these adorable cards by "Asking For Trouble." Based upon their graphics, I think they should change their name to "Asking For Cute" myself! I adore their whimsical eye and details in both the inside and outside prints, and wish to give them a big Hello There Cutie hello. xxxo

Bimbos Are Cuties Too!

Awhile ago my friend Patrice was in Mexico and he posted a photo of the Grupo Bimbo (the largest bakery in the world) mascot. The corporate image, a small white teddy bear, was inspired by a Xmas card sent by the grandson of the company's founder to his grandmother during the early 1950. Altho the bear has altered over the years, one thing hasn't: he's frickin adorable. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Anyone out there like Hello Kitty? Looks like the owners of this house in Shanghai seem to be fond of our fave feline. Altho I've only seen these two pics, I truly wish to view the rest of the house... in person! And do ya think pink is the dominant color theme? Hello There Cutie house!!! xxxo

Someone (no names mentioned... Amelie the pet rabbit mascot of our blog) complained that we haven't had enough rabbits and jewelry lately. Cutie Furniture

The International Furniture Fair Singapore is going to be held this month from March 9 - 12. In previewing some of the exhibitors, I came across these Cutie-worthy chairs from 2L1Y. The 3 designers from this company have some fabulous designs (which you can find here) but these caught my eye: brightly coloured chairs & benches with planters and wonderfully rounded corners. I think we might need to go to Singapore to check these out Cuties... got your passport ready? xxxo
