This Sunday is Halloween and instead of candy, the pumpkinhead on the right is getting a treat of music. Sounds good to me... how about you Cuties? Happy Hello-ween!!! xxxo
Am off to Chicago dear Cutie readers to visit my nephew and some friends... including the Cutie above! The wild monk parakeets of Hyde Park look to be in a Cutie competition with the wild parrots of Telegraph Hill here in SF. Will have to report back to you on the winner, and have a wonderful Hello There Cutie long weekend!!! xxxo
This time of year I always crave candy corn, and these two Cuties are giggling with glee at my hunger. These two buds are by the artist Maria Claspsis and are bringing a smile to my face. What about you Cuties? xxxo
A vintage Halloween paper wall decoration from the 60's, this wee black kitten doesn't look like she could be bad luck for anyone. And her jack o' lantern friend has such a welcoming smile, doesn't he seem to be saying "Hello There Cutie!" to all the trick or treaters? xxxo
Hello Kitty looks to be in her costume for Hello-ween and it's as a black cat (w/a fab bat belt!). I wonder if anyone will recognize her? With the blood dripping above, she best get out of the way to ensure her cutie outfit doesn't get any red on it. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
This weekend in SF Hello Kitty and her friends will be having a pop-up shop... I wonder if the bunny pirate on the right will be there? And the Merry Melody twins? The giant smiling hamburger? One person for sure there will be me shouting out "Hello There Cuties!" xxxo
Since 1970, people have enjoyed reading Barbapapa for its originality and sense of humor. Its picture books, comic books and the animated cartoon series make kids big n small smile... add in that Barbapapa's French and on this adorable notebook, Bonjour There Cutie!!! xxxo
This milk packaging was done by the graphic design firm Hattomonkey from Russia. We super adore the cross stitch look and this, being our first Russian posting, offer a big Hello There Cutie to our readers there!!! xxxo
Reader Vaughn recommended a movie called A Town Called Panic... I think it should be renamed A Town Called Cutie. Starring plastic railroad figurines w/stands (when little, I played with my brothers' for hours) it is both surreal and funny. And French. A totally Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
I was looking for a present for a friend's baby and found this carriage at Harrod's in London. The old fashioned pram part is both fabulous and adorable. The entire thing (covered is real gold) is beyond outrageous and made me wonder if Amelie the bunny would like to go for a ride in it? That would make it beyond Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo
I am off to a gem show today, and am hoping to see something as inspiring as the above. This diamond encrusted Hello Kitty ring (featuring a crown for a princess like moi) is only $2500 so start saving those pennies Cuties... Cutemaskah is just around the corner! xxxo
We all grew up with Sesame Street, and something I always adored about it were the parodies. The video above features Grover (who is a total Cutie!) spoofing the Old Spice commercials. With a monster twist. Totally silly and totally cutie! xxxo
Today was my Mom's birthday... Whenever I would visit her, I'd go to the store and buy Fiddle Faddle as it was her weakness (hey, whatever it would take to add a pound to her small frame I'd try it!!!). In fitting with her being a Cutie, the Faddle has a Cutie on the front of the box... it is a Cutie world after all. xxxo
My friend Scott leaves for Germany this week, and in his honor we bring you a Lebuchenhertz cookie! These gingerbread confections are heart shaped, feature lotsa icing, festive colors and a sweet message. Mine to Scott is "Safe travels Cutie!" xxxo
Reader Tomoko sent us this t-shirt design as she thought it Cutie and guess what? We agree! Altho I don't think my bunny Amelie would enjoy a chocolate chip cookie, if it were made of carrots and yogurt treats, I know she'd be going "Nom, nom, nom... yummy!" too. xxxo
As you know Cuties, we have a soft spot for bunnies... we therefore present you with twin baby bunnies in paper cups. Turn off the sound before watching (it's not cute) and sniff along with them after giving a big Hello There Cutie shout-out to these adorable critters! xxxo
What is this food? Is it a cake, flan or something else? Well whatever it is, this gets a big Hello There Cutie! Between the fluttering eyelashes on the big (mommy?) and the wink of the little one, I don't think I could eat anything so adorable, could you? xxxo
Our reader Andy sent us this awhile ago and it seemed appro to post today... This little otter is an orphan that is being taken care of at a wildlife rescue center. Andy is a recent orphan too, and we send out giant Hello There Cutie hugs to both this day. xxxo
My friend Elisabeth teaches classes at Castles in the Air in Berkeley, and she's invited me to her luminaries one tomorrow pm. Problem is, what silhouette image to bring? As you can see from the above cuties, my eyes are bigger then a 3 hour class... oh dear! xxxo
General Mills Monster Cereals -- Boo Berry, Franken Berry and Count Chocula -- are back in stores 'til Oct. 31... now that's a Halloween treat! The original cereals were intro'd almost 40 years ago and were always been major cuties on the shelves. Now if they'd only bring back Quisp!!! xxxo
