State Farm Cutie

I'm at the California State Fair today, and it is a cutie-palooza. Between the signs (so retro and kitschy) to the adorable farm animals and homemade goods, I love this event. Except for the deep fried Twinkies.... not Cutie!!! xxxo

Alot of my friends have dogs, and I find the bags they use for poop not very cute. I found these sassy (and cute ones) online from Germany, and wish they were here for my friends pups! As they aren't, we'll just have to enjoy these slightly NSFW ones instead. xxxo

Two more things I super adore: old cookbooks and mid-Century architecture. Betty Crocker made a dream come true with this cookbook from the 1950s. I wonder what the "wealth of ideas for todays entertaining" includes... Deviled eggs? Celery Victor? Chicken Kiev? Yummy indeed Cuties! xxxo

I don't have laundry in my apartment... nor building... nor block. So I have to take my dirties to the laundromat. Friends know I'm not keen on the concept, and the ones with washers/dryers often volunteer theirs when I'm coming over; today is one of those happy days!!! xxxo

More Clement Street Cute

Super Tokio has an amazing candy selection... with the majority in cute packaging. This little guy grabbed my attention as I'm not a fan of chocolate/orange as a flavor combo and his face looks like mine when the combo is encountered. Cranky! Adore that he's on the packaging telling it like it is!!! xxxo

Kewpie Kutie

I wandered in Super Tokio on Clement Street recently to buy some fun food products and look what was there: Cutie mayo!!! Kewpie mayonnaise is so adorable I pondered buying it just to have it in my fridge til I read the expiration date: consume within one month of opening. I don't know if I can eat that much mayo Cuties... darn! xxxo

Summertime Cute

This saucy (and cute!) gal with a vintage Cali tan made me smile... Reminded me of hot summer days at Will Rogers Beach in Santa Monica. Bbq'd chicken with flecks of sand. Horsey Potter Cutie

I love Harry Potter (have been his evil sister Sherri Potter for Halloween) so imagine my glee when I found a website that makes Harry Potter outfits for horses! The other costumes aren't as adorable as this one, and I truly wonderful how comfortable those glasses are for the pony but heck with it: this is darn cute!!! Hello There Cutie! xxxo

Better Late Then Not Cutie...

Bape hosted Bapesta!!Pro-Wrestling tournament in Tokyo this May, featuring some of Japans top pro wrestlers. The artist Yudetamago created a new wrestling costume and character (Apegon) just for this event. Above is the poster featuring this new character and two faves of mine: Baby Milo and the wrestling superhero Kinnikuman (I don't know the fourth). Who knew Cuties could be in wrestling too? xxxo

DiGrande Cuteness

Going for a neighborhood walk, I spied this cutie on the side of a DiGrande Brothers Landscaping truck or. I don't know if the brothers are good or bad at their job but, with this as their mascot, I'd give the DeGrande's a try based upon cuteness alone! xxxo

Today at Christies is a sale of vintage items relating to Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. These two def had a grasp on what cute is both in their personas and merchandising! I kinda wish I had been around then to wear a Dale Evans watch while playing with my cut-out Roy n Dale dolls... xxxo

Summer in the rest of the world (aka outside of SF!) is usually warm n full of cool treats. In NYC there is a store called Popbar that sells yummy yuppy popscicles to those who need a cool off. If they are as cute as they look in pics, I give a big Hello There Cutie to these frozen treats!!! xxxo

Marmot Cutie

A few years ago I climbed Mt Whitney and my fondest memory wasn't of the grueling trail and nursing boys with altitude sickness but of the marmots! I'd never seen one before and what friendly cuties they are. This guy gave me a smile, and hope he does for you too. Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Our Last Cambridge Cute

For my friends that tease me about living in a land of unicorns and rainbows, I give them the rockin 70s inspired version of my brain. While in back east, I went into a cool store in Cambridge. One friend bought sunglasses, others tried on silly outfits... I did research for you, my Cuties! Getting back into SF on Monday, I was greeted by fog... after 6 days of warmth 'n' sunshine, it's a tough adjustment! Luckily SF company Loyal Army has this adorable t-shirt to help me remember that, altho chilly, fog can be cute!!! xxxo

Dunkin Cuties

One of the first questions asked of me upon my return to SF was: Didja go to Dunkin Donuts? Not for a donut but for the coffee. Having been to the NE before, I avoided DD for most of this trip and did the local brews instead... that is until the cutie logo beckoned me. With pink and orange puffy typography, how could I not at least once give them my love? And darnit, that coffee is like crack!!! xxxo

Happy 4th of July Cuties!!! I was trying to think of an image for today and stuck in the back of my brain was Sam, the mascot of the 1984 Olympic Summer Games in LA. Sam's a cartoon eagle (created by Disney) that dresses like Uncle Sam... a Yankee Doodle Cutie if there ever was one! xxxo
