Jubilee Wee Cutie

Hello There Cutie has Jubilee fever but how can't we (or is the wee?) with this tea towel? Ok, perhaps not the most proper thing but isn't it just fun and funny? I adore how the flag is in the background of the lettering, and the typography is really wonderful and trend right. Ok, and very Hello There Cutie right too!!!   xxxo

Carrot Cuties

How's this for a happy Monday image? These carrots were found "cuddling" when they were plucked from Sue Smith's garden in Cwymbran, South Wales. I wonder if Sue kept them together or if it was a painful break-up? Whatever the outcome, I send a big Hello There Cutie to these adorable (and high in vitamins) pals. xxxo

Not Another Bill Cuties

I recently heard about a service out of the UK that I adore. Called "Not Another Bill," this is the brainchild of Ned Corbett-Winder, who is allowing us to get a surprises (not bills) in the mail! For £20 a month in the US, Ned will send you a fabulous present that is both creative and cute from a (v. small) vendor of his choosing. From what I can see on the website, it's all super creative and fabulous... a perfect present for any guy or gal! (hint: my b-day is 08/08) Hello There Cutie!!! xxxo

Jelly Cuteness

I am super excited Cuties! Inspired by making wine shots for a dinner party last pm, my friend and I ordered a UK book on updated jelly (or as us Yanks say Jello-O) recipes. Which should we make first? Campari and orange or fresh summer fruit? xxxo

(more) Owl Cuties

I recently discovered the work of the Manchester Craft Mafia out of the UK and wow, what talent presides there!!! This is the work of one of their members, and this owl paper collage has blown my mind. The detail, layering and all around adorableness has totally won a place in my heart (and I wish on my wall). Vintage British Cutie

This vintage brochure is from the UK in the 1940s and I adore the headline: "Candy is delicious food!" Who could argue with that? It then goes into money making opportunities but back to that cute headline (and wonderful typography). Making me hungry for some chocolate-y food... how about you Cuties??? xxxo

Hello Daisy Cutie

This retro inspired photo is by Cassia Beck, a photographer from Brighton. Her photos have a wonderful air of innocence and quirkiness that I find rather inspiring. I wonder about the stories behind the photos... is the daisy tiny or the hand that of a giantess? Questions to ponder my Cuties... xxxo

Skateboarding Cutie

Watch out Tony Hawk! Alby the Owl, of Folkstone Kent in the UK, loves nothing more than to feel the wind under his wings as he skateboards about town. Alby's owner discovered his unusual talent during a trip to the local shopping centre when Alby hopped onto a lad's board. As Alby resembles Hedwig from Harry Potter, this magical ability seems quite appro. And cute! xxxo

Measuring Cute

I found out this week that if you iron a measuring tape, it's not a good thing. Melts. That life lesson learned, time to find a new one... and who could resist this cutie? Outa Japan (via the UK), this little guy makes me want to measure away. You just pull the sweet bug (on top of his smiling head) and the world of inches is yours... Practical + Cute = a Hello There Cutie tape measure! xxxo

Pretty Polly Cuties

"Why" you might be wondering "did she post 'to go' cups?" Because they aren't what they appear to be!!! The hosiery brand Pretty Polly, (sold at Selfridges/UK), come in cardboard takeaway coffee cups marked with the words "Caution Hot Tights." Quirky, eye-catching and super cute indeed! xxxo

Politeness is Cute

In London, there's a current public ad campaign under the banner of "Together For London." These cuties, along with their friends, have messages of what they'll do to make transport in London a pleasant experience. As I take the bus on occasion, I really appreciate the one who "won't eat smelly food." xxxo

Teapigs Are Cute

Teapigs is a UK green tea with 137 times more antioxidants than a normal cup of green tea. The makers claim it is the "super hero of teas"... I say it's the "super hero of cute." xxxo

Cute British Packaging

When I saw this packaging, I squealed. Cute is so multi-faceted! UK-based agency Studio Blackburn created a campaign for Traidcraft, (a fair trade organisation that fights poverty through trade) that is both clever and cute. Add in that it brings attention to a good cause... perfection! xxxo
